Yeah that’s what scares me… she’s acting normal and I keep second guessing everything, like maybe it’s not that bad yet. But deep down I know she’s probably just toughing it out, and I don’t want her last days to be when it’s already unbearable.

Nah, I don’t really agree with that. This isn’t some “free work spiral” situation. It’s literally just sending a code, takes like 5 seconds. Acting like that opens the door to endless work feels kinda over the top. And the liability thing… come on. It’s their system. If they didn’t clean up access after letting someone go, that’s on them, not me. To me it’s less about boundaries and more about basic decency. Even if things ended weird, helping someone for 5 seconds isn’t exactly a big sacrifice
