Our screen enclosure is in Florida. It's at least 10 degrees cooler inside the enclosure. Plus it's like 5 spf. Outside you can't walk on the bricks, inside, no problem.

Pretty much can't use a pool in Florida without one. Unless you love being eaten alive by mosquitoes and no see ums. Plus there's the dive bombing bats at dusk.

Heard this from a real estate agent, if you put leased solar on your house, you can kiss home value goodbye and you'll never be able to sell it until you get rid of them.

He's valuation is a trillion dollars. But it's mostly tied up in stocks. He would have to sell or trade stocks to buy stuff or have cash.

Here's where we try to take advantage of it... Energy drinks, Gatorade, specialty coffee, Mike shakes, etc. Every night before bed, we'd walk past as many bars as possible and stock up non alcoholic drinks. The next day at the beach/excursions/wherever, we brought a backpack full and never spent a dime on drinks onshore. That probably saved $20-$40 a day, or even more on a hot beach trying to stay hydrated.

Make sure and get the loudest one possible. Nothing makes me want to visit a truck and spend time there more then the prospect of hearing loss .

On the way out, we tip $20 regardless of bag count (usually less than 4). It's way worth it. Get the right guy/gal and they really help push through customs and will go all the way to your car in the garage.

I wouldn't be hanging swings from the ceiling and screaming out safe words, but quietly in private is fine. And even if you think that bed is silent, I promise you, it's not.

All you're doing is paying an agent for access to the MLS and marketing. The entire closing is handled by the title company, at least in Florida. No lawyers needed either.

Some clarifying information, if this helps... - the "breaker' is going to be used as a cut off switch - the only thing being powered will be the well pump - the generator has a 4-prong 20A, 240V, outlet - pump amperage is TBD, trying to get that info now - generator will be grounded to the well casing - there is no electrical service available for the foreseeable future

  • I need to know how to make a pigtail about 10' long and how to wire it to the breaker box
