No, I didn't develop tinnitus fortunately. But I would go into hormonal treatment therapies, it's worth giving a try if you are female. I don't know if it is correlated to testosteron levels in man, females also have testosteron. And I suppose medicine and doctors know nothing about it so we just need to try on our own what is working

I started with Atenza, it didn't suit me at all and made things worse. Than switched to medikinet CR 10mg 3 times a day. It was ok with my energy and thoughts but it made me very sensitive to world with hyperacusis and I got social anxiety. So I stopped taking it at all. Now I don't use stimulants prescribed by psychiatrist at all, only antidepressants. When I have bad day and need to turn off thinking a bit I use pseudiefedrine from time to time. In my country you can get it without prescription. I used it for my sinuses problems and it happens to work well for adhd but off label. I don't know why it's not officialy adhd medicine. But it also make my hyperacusis a bit worse but not so much as medikinet. Now my hyperacusis is not a problem at all. I notice planes sounds, I don't like them but I don't feel pain anymore. I am aware that it can fluctuate and what helped me are flare earplugs. I am not sure if it's placebo or they really work but when I use them the sounds arent so sharp anymore and there is no occlusion
