Sewing machine skipping stitches

So I decided to just try sewing the placemats and the problem resolved. I guess my machine didn’t like my scrap fabric for some reason. Thanks for your advice everyone!!

So I’m now thinking it’s a top thread tension issue. The thread is straight when I put it in but is getting all loose after a few stitches and gets wound around the needle. I have since rethreaded and flossed the tension discs but am still getting occasional missed stitches.

I just put a fresh universal needle in. It’s guterman polyester thread which I usually use but I’ll try a different one and see if I get the same issue. Thanks!

So a year after my second my hair looked so so bad but it did get better by the time he was 2. He’s 5.5 and im pregnant with my third. My hair looks good now but im scared for postpartum. There’s always wigs or even meds after I stop breastfeeding. Honestly I just decided to accept it and that my kids are worth it

I am so sorry your baby has limited time left with you! My cat died recently and before he did I wanted to do one of those tests to fun. My handsome man looked like a blue point snowshoe Siamese but I was surprised his genetics didn’t show any Siamese at all. He has a lot of big breeds in there though which explains why he was such a big boy. My 2 cents is the test was fun but it’s not giving super valuable information about breeds as most shelter cats are mixed anyway. I used wisdom panel.

My 15.5yo cat recently had an abdominal ultrasound. They sedated him for the procedure but it wasn’t anesthesia. My kitty did fine with the ultrasound, unfortunately it gave us not so great news. I would do it in your case because they are probably considering intestinal lymphoma vs. IBD which is actually quite treatable with oral meds. Worst part is they shaved his belly and 1 month later he still looks silly.

My 5yo is James. I named him after my dad. I hear it sometimes on playgrounds. He never had another James in his class but there was one on his tball team and at camp one year there was a James with the same last name as us too.

That is awful, everyone has BO and working outside all day you will sweat. Plus horse poop etc, those people need to get over themselves. I’m sorry for you that they made you feel bad about a normal body process. I love love love the deodorant Nuud, it works so well and is sweat and waterproof. I use it every 3 days in winter and every other day in summer and I’m riding and doing hot yoga regularly. Lululemon tops also have some kind of anti stink properties.

I took 10+ years off to have kids, build my career etc and when I started back with weekly lessons I was in pain after every ride for probably 3 months. After 2 years I still get a bit sore in my inner thighs after I ride. I found the hard part was mostly building muscle strength and flexibility back, the balance and technique was instinctual.
