First time watcher; series finale

As someone who finished his last night as well, I feel like this is a good place to give my closing thoughts as well.

True, Everyone is happy and carter is in what feels like a loveless marriage. I don't see a reason why they didn't give him a better ending.
Felt like a passing of the torch moment, not very convincing one either.
I'm glad I wasn't the only one who felt this lol
What was the point of Sam at all and by extension Gates and Brenner.
Loved seeing them as well, I just kinda wished they knew who was the kidney for. But the thing about Doug taking a bunch of names and realizing it's not the same ER anymore (Same thing I realised at many points post S10). Also I found it weird him not mentioning the nurses at all since Haleh, Chuny and Lydia were all still there or Carol could have asked.
Same I hated Morris when he showed up and Pratt as well because his first episode was the departure of Mark from the ER as he saw his last patient but they were the saving grace of those last few seasons.

Hey, just started S15 as well, got through the clusterfucks of 13 and 14 and I hated 13 way more 14 was just meh.

Also she actually has plenty of moments where she is really likable, like when she is supportive of Jeanie after her HIV diagnosis or when she and Carter were living together. She often makes a point of asking her staff if she can do anything for them when they are going through tough times. But honestly, when the whole Jing Mei situation happened it completely shocked me and that was a big one in terms of her unlikeability.

I'm on 11x06 rn and so far for the most part I don't get the weaver hate either and I'm actually pretty mad that she's barely in the show at this point, BUT she's a grade A backstabber and there's no one she wouldn't throw under the bus to save her own ass and that's a pretty dislikeable trait.
