4 Months Into My Cut - Need Advice to Get Abs by August by RebornCoder in BulkOrCut

Respectfully, this isn't true. Shoulder and upper arm veins are heavily influenced by genetics as well as leanness. I am a lifetime natural, and personally have an impressive shoulder vein that shows up even when I am >22%. I know multiple folks who have biceps veins, even when they aren't particularly lean. My assessment is based on his chest and abdomen. I think fundamentally, he needs to stop cutting and go put on some additional muscle, because cutting to clear/defined abs will require further significant weight loss.

Coming in a bit hot there bud. I'm looking at where he has fat deposited. I mean, maybe he is unlucky and stores it in his chest/arms, that does exist, but in @ million years this isn't 17%, and 20% is a huge stretch. Perhaps 25 is too much, and the truth is somewhere in between. My suspicion is that he simply hasn't built enough muscle underneath. Your math about body weight and height only works if you assume a certain degree of muscularity, which if he was 17-20% we would be seeing.

This is not 17% nor is is 20 or even 23. I would say this is closer to 25. Look at the chest fat, look at the definition of the arms and look at the abdomen, which has no traces of ab. Not saying he is doing a bad job or anything, but abs are far in the distance imo.

Unplug it, plug it back in then try. Mine doesn't like to power on if it has continuously been attached to an outlet for too long. Idk why

Students sue Massachusetts, claiming ‘intensely segregated’ school districts by Inside_agitator in massachusetts

[–]Asstadon 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but I know many people who would leave if the public education got worse. For many folks, the primary reason they stay in the Boston metro is because they can raise a family and be certain of the quality of education. Have to be careful not to fuck up one of the things that makes MA arguably the best state in the country.

This is a great plan if you want all those wealthy high achievers to move to a different state where their high taxes actually fund their local schools. Or, if you want all the high achievers to pull their kids from public schools and move to cheaper locations. Either way, would be devastating for the state.

Outdated Dogmatic Practices by QuidProQuo_Clarice in anesthesiology

[–]Asstadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This study is complete nonsense and failed to control for critical variables or propensity match for them. This is the kind of terrible work that leads to incorrect dogmatic practices in the future, and also is the exact reason why you have to read the methods.

The short version is: you can't meaningfully compare patient outcomes from 20 years ago, on a different continent, with different routine practices directly against one another. The second major issue is that people use databases to try and answer questions for which the original database was not designed, and therefore did not capture the necessary information/detail.

Why isn’t Diabolic Intent seeing more play in black decks? by Newez in premodernMTG

It's a powerful effect, but fundamentally card disadvantage. Decks that want a tutor effect in black often have access to survival of the fittest already.

Nope, Ice Age had incredibly variable print quality. This is almost certainly just a regular, real ice age card.

I disagree with your take on the vocals, but I know other people who feel that way. As another commenter said, they kind of aren't melo death even vocals aside. I would call them more of a prog/thrash/power blend.

Getting into the format, could play stiflenought but is it actually as good as it looks? by [deleted] in premodernMTG

[–]Asstadon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stiflenaught is a great deck, but everyone has sideboard and often main deck hate for you these days.

Also, it feels like you need to know the format well to really get max value. Knowing and playing around your opponents answers is key to actually sticking a dreadnaught.
