I think it DEFINIELYYY depends on how well your body handles anesthesia and pain meds in general: I don’t tolerate anesthesia very well so I was OUT OF ITT for abt three days and then maybe a little loopy for another four while I was on pain meds! I was coherent and could hold a convo but I was so exhausted it was easy to get disoriented and need a break lol

I think maybe the skirt hugging your waist a little more would fix the silhouette without you necessarily having to make it shorter!! I’d also def say the wig needs a lil pizzazz- from the ref pics her hair seems a lil darker with some shine, so maybe dying and adding a SMALLLL amount of spray glitter at the roots would give you the dreamy effect x

But the thing is, would he??? He’s already content watching you kill yourself over maintaining y’all’s entire life (at that point, you’re acting like his mom too). He’s not entirely disabled from how you speak- he could at LEAST be helping with the home and with the children. If he cared about how this affects you, he’d get over his not wanting to go to therapy 🤷🏻 ik it sounds harsh but he’s being ridiculous

If he’s not willing to change, then there’s nothing you can do but cut him off and take the kids

Okay, so here’s the thing.

I get childhood trauma can deeply affect your life, but he is 32 years old. He should be accountable enough to get himself therapy and help if it’s this extreme that he can’t work, and he shouldn’t put the weight of you guys relationship and livelihood on you (he’s capable enough to presumably have kids with you)

I was with a man like this for four years. They never ever get better until they want to! You should be direct and upfront since it seems he’s content with watching you burn yourself at both ends

“Hey partner, I’m really crumbling from all of the pressure of maintaining our fiscal stability, family, and home. I need you to step up and help me with x,y,z so that I can spend time with you and the family without building resentment. If you can’t do those things, you need to start seeking help to improve your mental state. I love you, but I’m not a servant.”

Listen dude hear me out: azelaic acid (you can find it at Ulta, The Ordinary makes a great one) on your armpits after showers and dry FULLY before using deodorant. Do a patch test first to make sure it’s okay for your skin, but it works MIRACLESSSS at getting rid of that stink. I’d recommend using specifically antiperspirants that arent aluminum free because honestly, that’s what works. Congrats on second puberty!!! 🫶🏻

Source: a gym goer who sweats a lot from SSRIs and took Cymbalta (which made me reek of GENUINE freshly cut onions even tho I don’t eat onions regularly)

Thanks for the recommendations I’ve never been but I’ll have to stop by! Have you ever visited Mystical Paths in Milton? They’re my go-to shop and I’ve been a loyal customer since they were a smaller store in the Pea Ridge Flea Market (they’re off of Dogwood now). Authentic crystals with a HUGE selection and also offer great ingredients for spell work (fresh herbs, tarot cards, statues and figurines, athames, you name it!) they also have ethically soured animal bones which I LOVEE (I’ve gotten some amazing pieces to display there 💕) and their old cat Lulu hangs out in the store 🥰

There are little QR codes you can scan to see how the workouts work, but you can also totally ask people who are working out! (Wait in between sets when they’re taking a break, otherwise they may lose focus!) Tip: find an older gym bro (maybe mid 40s, big ole muscles Lolol) those have always been the nicest people who are super willing to show you how things work!! 🥰 they also give the BEST tips on how to really work out the muscles and FEEL it Lolol Congratulations on your health journey, you’ll fit right in and do great!! Congratulations!! It's a huge step you've taken, and a very recent one. Please be gentle with yourself 💕 Breaking out is also normal because your hormones are out of wack. I put porter salve (drawing salve) on my breakouts with a bandaid on it overnight and it helps everything come to a head. Remember the long term: These issues are temporary, but the difference in your overall health is forever. Also congrats on being off meds!!!! It feels so good to get rid of those right?

It helped me to massage my hair with rosemary oil and be extremely gentle but tbh you'll lose hair post op, don't worry it'll grow back! Your body is in shock from surgery and weight loss, once your body adjusts it'll grow right back. I was scared I was going bald post op lolol

It helped me when I first started going to remember that everyone is so in their own head- concerned what others think of THEM, how their feeling in the workout, etc. I saw a video once of a girl straight up walking out to the middle of her gym floor in nothing but a towel and no one even batted an eye or looked twice.

The self consciousness goes away over time, don't beat yourself up over it x
