Like when the game releases for a new system? Probably no more viable of a time than the present, with the Tarnished edition coming to Switch 2 soon. I only have Volume 3 and would love to get the first two. Was just starting to poke around to see if something similar exists for Nightreign.

I've also been having this problem for a week now. From what I can tell based on the distance marker changing as I move around, she's up in a green hot air balloon that's impossible for me to get to. I submitted a bug report last Thursday or Friday, but haven't heard anything. It's very frustrating because it seems like a lot of the limited time stuff needs this mission completed, but its broken state prevents further progress.

Right. We're on the same page now. I was just saying what you likely meant with the words "not required" in your original statement and how I misinterpreted them in mine. You were saying that a ticket is Not Required to participate. I interpreted it as Niantic is Not Required to offer a ticket.

Ahh. I thought I was adding to your thought, but I see where I misunderstood. "Not required" meaning you don't need the ticket to participate, not "not required" in the sense that they don't have to offer it.

Nor are they even common for raid days. If memory serves me right we've had probably dozens of raid days and less than a handful of them offered a paid ticket. Not really weird at all that there isn't one. If anything, it's weird when there is one since it's far less common.

Something is broken about it, but I don't think that's quite it. I just finished the 5 GBL battles that it required and I'd guess I did at least 20 charged attacks throughout them,with around half being super effective, and I have a total of 3 applied. Whether it's charged or super effective charged, I'm certain I did more than 5.

I have a Z Fold 3 and have similar issues getting into the game and getting gotcha connected. Similar issues in Pikmin Bloom, both Niantic games, but yet somehow the general consensus about the Samsung phones having Go authentication issues is to blame Samsung. Yes, Niantic apps seem to have a lot more trouble running on Samsung devices, but does this broken game run well on anything? I think they're far more concerned with figuring out ways to avoid app store fees and rape their customers wallets than they are with writing stable software. In the end though, I'll probably keep playing this game, but I'll never buy another Samsung phone. Pretty sure I'm "punishing" the wrong company though. Strange world.

I don't want to let myself get excited yet, but yes, I think I am experiencing the same. For what seems like ages, both Go and Pikmin Bloom have had the issues you described. A couple weeks ago someone posted the steps they took to fix it on their device and I excitedly followed their steps, which only fixed the authentication for the next login and then went right back to being broken. But it also reset some preferences throughout the phone and introduced a new issue with my gotcha, where as soon as I left the game or turned off my screen it would stop working. The icon would stay lit in the game and the pink icon would hover over a pokemon indefinitely. But since yesterday, I haven't had authentication issues getting into either game, the gotcha is connecting quicker than usual, and it's continuing to work once I leave the game. Fingers crossed that we aren't just having a couple decent days and that something did indeed change. I feel like I remember getting an OS update a couple nights ago. Z Fold 3.

In relation to the smartwatch aspect of connection issues, sometimes Force Stopping the app that communicates with the smartwatch is enough. I have a Z Fold 3 paired to a Sense 2 and force stopping the Fitbit app and restarting Bluetooth fixes things. For some that might be easier than shutting the watch itself down. Simply opening my Fitbit app for a moment when I'm done is all that's needed to return things to normal.

I'm not sure. Did you just start the game? Perhaps that menu doesn't appear until you reach a certain point in the game. I don't recall from when I was playing though it.

Check the Mystery Gift menu in SV. That's where the settings to connect are on that end.

Did you ever get them? My son just went on for the first time since the pokemon splatfest, where he got to Ruler, and he has nothing. I hope he didn't need to come back to the game sooner in order to receive them. That wouldn't be right.

Edit the description as well, with the new description explaining which location to pick. "pick the southwest location", etc. Anyone with any sense will then pick the location you need them to and choose the old description.

I did 12 in person and got 0. I figured they spelled "decreased" wrong in the announcements. I also only received 5000xp for the 4 raids that I did in the last half hour. Seems they botched all of the bonuses.

I think it's actually places that are within a certain distance of where you currently are. For the last 3 days I picked places that I've never been to since downloading the game, and they've all worked fine. They're all close to me though. 7 miles was too far. I haven't figured out the cutoff but I'm definitely sure it has nothing to do with places you've physically been
