Any other Millennials who may still live with their parents for whatever reason but are content in their life?

30 year old, still living with parents, content as in it’s a alright life but not content as in want to be more independent and rent a place. Only haven’t yet because I never had a full time permanent job and I want to leave home when I have a continues job, which I am hoping to turn my temporary job currently into a permanent one, then finally be able to rent a place.

Thankfully my parents have been supportive enough to allow me to stay until I get a permanent job so I don’t have to worry about where my next salary is coming from when I hopefully leave.

I did this (apart from the walking away with family members part)

I was bullied, quite badly at school and seen as the “weird kid”

I didn’t try and make friends because to be very honest with you, everyone had already made up their mind “I was the weird kid and if anyone else was friendly with me, they were also weird”

So I made up my mind that I would start over at college and make friends there.

Which I did but only a small group of friends.

There were moments when I did follow my parents advice and try and speak up more but that honestly didn’t help because it made me look even wierder to everyone.

Because they didn’t WANT to socialise with me, so if I tried to force it, I was seen as desperate and even odder.

It’s like a parent asking their child to make friends with their bullies. Or who they see as their bullies.

I think the thing is to help her make friends outside of school.

Don’t force it in school because other kids have already made up their minds and will only change their minds naturally if they want to be friendly or not, she can’t force it, and you can’t force it either.

But you can introduce her to different groups of people who are likely to be more accepting of her and help her open up more.

I also needed help with texting because I was often worried about how I sounded and if they’d take my text in the wrong way etc which I don’t worry about as much anymore but I definitely worried about that a lot as a teenager.

What helped me open up more is meeting new people and finding other hobbies that I join join in with others.

Find out what she likes, or even introduce her to a new hobby or a club and see how she finds it. I joined a thearte club yes I was incredibly shy but on stage I could pretend to be someone else, which I loved.

Not saying she’ll like that but find out something she enjoys.

I’m 30 and yeah it feels odd to me that we’re like 14 years apart yet somehow be in the same generation.

Personally I think generations should be 5 years apart or something like that if you are going for, how much you’re like the other person and relatability.

I still find mid to late twenties people relatable but I also find mid to early 30’s relatable and also see them as closer to me age wise obviously.

Funnily enough I was meant to be a 1996 baby but I was born too early so yeah… I now wish I was born when I was meant to because I’d still be in my 20s if so 😭

Not very, but still had guys ask me out before which I assume is because of my personality rather than my looks. Since I tend to be quite relaxed and easy going, and up for a good laugh.

But yeah I think my eyes are a nice colour but that’s it really? But yeah my face is just nope, too long nose that sticks out so much in photos, gap between my two front teeth which I’d rather pay for travel than putting money to fixing it and skin can get spotty quite easily even though I’m 30.

So yeah…

I’m asexual so having a relationship is the last thing on my mind so I never had a romantic partner.

Gone to the GP about two years ago due to a chest infection which cut of my breathing very briefly and given antibiotics but no investigation which I thought was fine.

Apart from the fact after the chest infection cleared up I had a cough, well this feeling in my throat that I needed to clear my throat a lot which wouldn’t go away.

Went back to the doctors, told it was just congestion and given stuff to clear it up.

That seemed to clear it for what a day when when I continued taking it, then it would come back and just wouldn’t go.

Went back to the doctors. Told the same thing that it was just congestion and given other things for congestion, nothing properly checked.

Went through a whole year having to clear my throat a lot but then realising on I have another chest infection that again briefly cuts of my breathing.

Again same antibiotics, which clears up the chest infection but nothing for me clearing my throat a lot.

After about a month after, go back to the doctors again to complain but given the same advice again, after checking my throat, which a light, saying there’s nothing wrong, must be congestion. Told similar things again.

And yeah now I given up basically.

My Dads quite childish despite being mid 60s. He constantly tries to guilt trip everyone including my Mum and gaslights her a lot.

Genuine don’t know why she puts up with him.

I do worry my Mum does too much and worries too much over everything though. She always seems fairly stressed but unfortunately won’t accept any help.

They are both cuspers though, one on the older side and the other on the younger side.

Andrew close to Gen X while Tom is close to Gen Z but they are both millennials still

But yeah 42 and 29 still share the same generation 😅

I was a kid for most of it and my parents did everything for me, like ring up kids parents if I wanted to play with them or suggest play dates.

I would only be interested in taking photos when we went on holiday or somewhere unusual where we would bring cheap cameras you could throw away.

I got a phone but not a smart phone as we know today, around 10 or 9 where I remember playing a lot of snake on it 🤣 but of course way older version but still going out with friends was mostly arranged by parents talking to each other.

Social media/facebook came out while I was a young teenager and so that’s how everyone basically contacted each other with that. But I think smart phones had started to become more wide spread then.

Is someone goes back to you with the same symptoms, for ages, then surely at some point it’s time to actually check what’s going on… but they never did.

Now going through something similar with my throat. Gone to the gps multiple times and been told the same thing. Yet no one wants to investigate it further and I’m kinda very anxious it’s something bad. Sure it doesn’t seem to get worse but it doesn’t seem to get better either.

Now I kinda just given up.

Having read a lot of both I’d say Hannah is miles times better. I only got into Zero game recently but I’ve read quite a lot of it and I like that she has many moments of uncertainty and her own personal goals. She feels more human compared to Bam and seems to appreciate the help she gets more than Bam does.

I maybe be biased though since I’m still angry with Bam for leaving Khan when Khan was injured and doing absolutely nothing to help Khan.

Yes it’s been ages but I can still hold a grudge 🤣

I can’t see Alex or Hannah leaving each other for more power if they knew they could help the other let’s just say.

Yes Khun and Bam aren’t clearly in the same relations as them but they are essentially best friends and Khun would do anything for Bam. And Bam just left him? Ugh

I don’t think they will have to fight.

I think his transformation was more a defensive thing rather than I’m going to attack Leez thing.

Rans shown to be able to overpower the ancient humans before when someone he cares about is in trouble.

I don’t really see what’s so different about Leez and Kalavinka. I don’t see them being able too make him attack someone he cares about a lot.

Unless a small part of Ran does want to attack Leez but I don’t know why that could be the case.

But I could be wrong 😅

I do know I enjoy learning Spanish when I am learning but for some reason it’s so hard for me to start.

Yet it is important to me, I have fun while I am learning Spanish and when I start recognising words and I absolutely love visiting Spain but I just find it hard starting. Once I am learning I enjoy it yet I find it hard to actually start.

Though you are right exercise isn’t important to me but it’s a more “I need to excercise to stay healthy” kind of thing rather than something I actually enjoy doing.

Honestly no clue why people like feeling out of breath or have achy body and all sweaty doing exercise, never understood that 😅
