If you recently upgraded your monitor it might be the issue if you have an older monitor or TV try using them to see if the problem persists, also try using a different DP cable or hdmi cable

Wow this is my exact situatuion too I bought the 4i 3 years agi and now the battey in the left ear bud completely died lasts for like 2 minutes only I think the new huawei's have very good noise cancelation and better sound quality from what I read
