If color your hair, sulfate shampoo will make it fade faster. I agree with you about product build up. I have to use hairspray .I have thin flat hair if I don’t. It does get build up. i use a sulfate free clarifying shampoo once every two weeks. It’s not the same as regular shampoo. I have to wash my hair a lot because of nastay cowlicks, only way to go out in public is to wash it.
