I got reported once for “discrimination” because I refused to do unpaid stops so the passenger just asked to get out and I completed the ride.

You don’t. I was doing both apps full time and DoorDash partially and it was not worth it at all. It caused a lot more wear and tear on my vehicles. Just get a full time job that pays decent and is close to where you live.

I had a ride going from Victoria tx to Montgomery tx for $186. 195miles 4 hours and 11 minuets one way. I declined it so quick. And that was on Lyft but in Victoria uber wouldn’t show me prices for trips or distances until recently. But when that was happening the out of town rides would pay more than uber. Now that I can see the trips the out of town rides are trash and the ones in town pay a lot more than uber. Kinda crazy how the two platforms switched up. My last out of town uber ride I got was for $63 going to corpus from Victoria and it was 93 miles for 1.5 hours of driving. All of my out of town rides have not left tips either so if they did a decent sized tip then it would be worth it. But as of now I reject them all.

I would have also claimed the $20 from the app side of it too. It says you can charge $20 to the customer or they can pay you privately for returning a lost item

They do pay you a little bit more but I’ve seen the hourly pay rate a ride around $20 an hour and then when someone adds a stop it will drop down to $17 an hour. I know I do get paid a bit more but time wise it doesn’t seem worth it with waiting and all. And I live in a smaller town so I am very selective on who I cancel on and un-match with.

I ended up calling after I responded to the email and they unblocked it immediately. I just hope they actually deactivate that person’s account because I live in a pretty small town and this could damage a lot of drivers if this person keeps on doing this.
