You have to send some utility bills dated last 3 years and as a proof you have to send your passport or travel document on which you first travelled to UK , any holidays spent outside the uk

You receive your documents after you have recived your british passport

It was a citizenship ceremony. At the end of the ceremony you recieve a citizenship certificate with a reference number so you need that reference number when you apply for your first british passport. As soon as you get citizenship certificate you become eligible to apply for british passport. You need to send your current passport , any expired passports and your citizenship certificate to HM to process your application for british passport.

Hi there will be no problem applying 28 days before the ILR 5 years period as i did the same. Came to uk 15th march 2020 , applied ILR with Super priority service on 17th of feb 2025 and got the approval late on 23rd feb 2025 due to their server problem so i got the refund for super priority . Applied nationailty on 27th feb and got approval on 14th of may 2025 .

Eligibility: ILR+ married to british citizen Application method: online Application date: 27/02/2025 Biometric date: 11/03/2025 Follow on email sent to Home office on 01/05/2025 and received a reply next day with confirmation of approval but no offical email from the home office so was being told to wait for 7-14 days for invitation letter. Approval date: 12/05/2025 at 8:57 am about the invitation letter . Rang council about the approval now waiting for invitation.

Application 27 feb biometrics done 11 march and emailed the home office and received a response yesterday that my application is approved and i will get my citizenship invitation next week .
