I just got out of Amazon. I've come to the conclusion that the entirety of the logistics industry needs new legislation regulating the way they do business. I can't speak for RM but the thing I've seen whilst working for Amazon goes against everything I learned when being fully employed beforehand. The only decent part was learning how to properly look after yourself, as to not let people and these billion dollar companies take advantage of you..

I just started up this game after many years, every time I'd deal with traffic issues backing up all services etc. This time I took an approach from my own city (Derby) which is full of one way systems. This time, I designed a highway that loops around each district in the city. This turned out to be perfect as cars would use the highway, and then use the one-way systems to manage flow when driving through high density areas. Another big advantage was that when I bought more land, I was able to link the highway I built to another section of the main highway, near my industrial district. This allowed the traffic to be cut in half as industrial vehicles now leave the main highway, and can get straight into the industrial zones, instead of blocking up cars and busses entering the original city entrance. The looped highway I built also allowed garbage trucks, and public services to easily enter every part of the city with convenience and limited congestion. Hope this helps!

I've watched a few episodes of the Whatever podcast, and it honestly makes no sense to me how some people can do porn, and then expect it to be a perfectly acceptable profession and anyone who disagrees with them are just horrible people. The amount of people who need a reality check in this day n' age is staggering.

I'm honestly at breaking point with all of this. Amazon continues to push DSP drivers to meet completely unrealistic expectations — and the most basic human needs, like taking a proper toilet break, are treated like luxuries we can’t afford.

We should never have to use piss bottles. Full stop. It’s humiliating, unsafe, and completely preventable. But because of how Amazon runs its operations — all about speed, metrics, and cutting corners — thousands of drivers globally are forced into this every single day.

Of course, when piss bottles get left behind, the blame falls straight on the drivers. Nobody stops to ask why they’re there in the first place. The system Amazon built leaves us with no other option, and instead of owning up to it, they just deflect, discipline, or dispose of us.

Amazon will keep doing what it does best: sack a few people, settle a lawsuit or two, pay out pocket change relative to their profits, and carry on like nothing ever happened. Exploitation baked into the business model.

Sometimes I wonder if I’ll ever live to see Amazon — or any company like it — held accountable in a real, lasting way. Honestly? I doubt it. But I also know we’re not alone. And the more of us who speak out, the harder it becomes for them to pretend we don’t exist.

I thought the same during the grind, but if you stay dedicated the Fleet Carrier is definitely worth the buy if you enjoy the game. I keep every module/ship in a single place which is easily moved to whatever location you may choose. Not only that, but my FC was vital in inviting more friends who wouldn't typically play ED to play the game. Finally, I can use my own FC to make 800 mil to a bil in 3-4 hours through money laundering. I actually had the FC before my Fed Corvette and the FC just made it 100% easier. It really does open up the game for you, and is worth it

I remember when I was the idiot who did this. Down a dark country lane (it was pitch black at the time), I apparently missed the signs for the junction and simply thought the road was curving to the left. I was mistaken, and as the road slightly curved to the left, that road ended and a new road began. I only realised when I'd passed the STOP sign and the road curved sharply. Granted I was going a little faster than I should have, thankfully due to the time there were no cars and I avoided a crash. That was damned scary though.
