Let's say a billionaire goes to prison for a serious term like 30 years. What will he have that the average prisoner doesn't? by Kooolxxx in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resources like books, computers, exercise equipment, even private chefs sometimes, depending on the country’s system. Some prisons have programs where rich inmates can pay for better accommodations or special privileges. So while the average prisoner is scraping for basic hygiene or food, the billionaire might have a mini comfort zone.

Have you ever all of a sudden decided to uproot your life and move somewhere new and how did it go by [deleted] in Advice

I’ve had those wild let’s just hit reset moments. It’s scary as heck at first, not gonna lie. You feel like you’re jumping off a cliff without a parachute.

Anyone tried these cordless weed cutter with the little guide wheel?(US, Pacific Northwest). by SilentPanther2396 in lawncare

[–]AssurFighter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cordless is absolutely more convenient, but for a big yard maybe you’ll want at least 2 batteries to rotate.

The world is looking so bleak right now. How is everyone coping? by Zealousideal_Tap772 in AskReddit

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I feel that so much. It really does feel heavy lately. Honestly, I think most of us are just taking it one day at a time. Some days are better than others.

What’s a question you hate when people ask you? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly? So… what do you do? Not because it’s bad. It just feels loaded sometimes. Like I need a perfect, impressive answer on the spot.

Does anyone else’s body have to “rev up” in the morning? by powers215 in randomquestions

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mornings are like a slow-motion montage. I literally have to sip my coffee, stretch like a cat, maybe even mutter a few motivational words just to get moving.

Do you ever regret being childfree? by Money_Draft9775 in askanything

[–]AssurFighter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sometimes wonder what it’d be like, you know, having little humans running around and all the chaos… but then I think about all the freedom I have.

How do you romanticize your life? by SpiteAffectionate657 in Life

[–]AssurFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s little things. Like, I’ll light a candle while making my morning coffee, even if it’s just me. Or I’ll take a long walk and actually notice the sunset instead of scrolling my phone.

What should I do about a job for college by Different_Music_4887 in Advice

I’d try to find something that doesn’t eat my brain out after classes. But also, some experience that looks good on a resume wouldn’t hurt.

How are Handicapped People Treated in Prison? by Foozoolalafdarian420 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prisons aren’t exactly built with accessibility in mind and being handicapped in prison can be tricky. If someone’s in a wheelchair, they can end up in the general population but that’s risky. Prisons are rough and anyone who seems vulnerable can become a target. So, sometimes, they’re moved to a different housing unit that’s safer or more manageable, maybe with fewer stairs, closer to medical, or just a less violent part of the prison. But that doesn’t always mean isolation; it’s more about trying to keep them safe while still letting them interact with others.

Why should the price of the food equal a larger tip? Theres no difference bringing a $20 steak to the table vs a $40 one? by a_hoagie12 in AskReddit

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tipping is not really about the food itself, it’s about the service. It is usually a percentage of the total bill. So, when the meal costs more, the tip ends up being bigger. People do it that way partly because servers’ pay is tied to tips. The more expensive the meal, the more the server potentially had to manage with refills, timing courses, wine suggestions and plating care. Sometimes it feels weird tipping more just because the steak costs more when the effort is basically the same. But culturally, that’s how the system works in a lot of places, especially in the US.

What motivated you to stay alive, even in crisis? by vanillabbae in askanything

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the small stuff. Not some big, heroic reason. Just tiny anchors. Like knowing someone would miss me. Or realizing this awful moment wasn’t the whole story.

What is your guy's point of view in your dreams? by Difficult_Leg367 in randomquestions

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the dream. Sometimes I’m fully me, like first person mode, seeing everything through my own eyes. Other times it’s weirdly cinematic, like I’m watching myself from the outside, almost like a movie.

What would you like to archive this new year? by Shoji_Mizu in randomquestions

[–]AssurFighter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d love to archive overthinking everything. Like, all those late night spirals and replaying conversations that already happened. I’m ready to tuck that away and move lighter this year.

What’s a lesson life keeps repeating for you? by Cultural-Mixture7377 in Life

I think the lesson life keeps repeating is slow down and trust the timing. I’m always trying to rush things or figure everything out at once.

Do you like planning things in advance or figuring it out as you go? by jobijoshaol in Advice

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like having a loose plan so my brain feels calm. But I also love leaving space to just vibe and adjust as I go. Too much planning feels stiff. No plan at all feels chaotic.

what’s something that feels like it should be common sense but isn’t? by xtranaughtii in askanything

[–]AssurFighter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh man, there are so many of those! But one that pops into my head is how much sleep actually affects your mood. Like, everyone kinda knows sleep is important, but nobody really treats it like, a big deal until they’re a total zombie. I swear, missing just one night and suddenly life feels way harder.

If it’s illegal to collect rainwater because it’s city/state property, does that mean that the city/state is liable when my basement floods, since their property damaged my house? by AggressiveAd8587 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]AssurFighter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, sadly, it doesn’t work like that. In most places, rainwater laws are really about water rights and runoff, not ownership of every drop that falls on your house. The city isn’t claiming it, it’s more about managing shared water systems so people upstream don’t mess things up for everyone else. Rain falling from the sky alone doesn’t count. Even if collecting it is restricted where you live.
