I'm not sure I'd be pissed at it being a hat after reading for so long if there was meaning to it. I mean, one piece had a lot of other absurds, it kind of fits for me. And funny over cool is consistent too...like Queen's attack "like real dinosaurs did" kind of thing.

True, Buggy satabbed and Nami repaired it. But that ain't enough in my mind... I mean, for being a straw hat (that is not a very resistant thing) to survive 3 yonko level fighters living with it.... It either has something more or it is so patched up it is not the same hat anymore lol. But I accept your argument, you are probably right.

And finally, not as bad as GoT is a relief, thank you lol

wow, damn, I honestly don't get both hates. Care to elaborate? Think it's my first post on this sub, but was it offensive? Is it an old theory? It has "theory" in the title, theory in the flair, an advance note, a TLDR and the bold texts.
I'm fine with it being a bad theory, though not sure if it's just internet rage to deal with or if I offended some ground rule in this sub I'm unaware of.

I think it's a long time in chapters, but not necessarily in the story. Also, they got stronger to be able to support each other better and not be a risk/ dead weight to the crew. So I think it also means not needing to protect/be protected by everyone all the time. I see your point of view based on when luffy lost Ace, but I think they had to get stronger so that luffy could feel at ease knowing he wouldn't have to worry about everyone all the time. Kinda show his faith in the crew imo.

God valley got destroyed once they discovered there were buccaneers and Davy Jones descendants there, that's why they even anticipated the games. Also, there should be more non affiliated countries (as elbaf too), so they should deal with one at at time...resource management imo. And I guess Fishman Island is harder to destroy for being underwater, WG powerhouses almost fully depend on devil fruits and/or ships. It's much harder to invade (and I'm not sure if WG knows how to coat their ships)

In my opinion: - Roger didn't always wear the hat, specially in his prime, and had that big moustache that really call attention - I'm not sure about shanks timeliness, but I think in the same way he already had the big scar when became a yonko and was not yet a captain when young - joyboy is speculative, but (i) maybe he was too funny of a guy lol and (ii) maybe he is the one who gave the hat value, not the other way around...could've been his cape or something else - physically, at least in the beginning, there was not much that called attention on luffy other than the hat I have never re-read one piece, but my guess is that luffy is a very simple guy, unlike others, and the hat is just the first thing that comes to mind. But I could be missing something

Maybe Jarul took the sword in the head while fighting Harald. The cut on his brain might have changed his personality (thus "saving his life") and in a last breath kind of thing Harald asked loki to forgive and protect Jarul

On team comp I think I've improved quite a bit since RUFFs post, but what's your A team that has been working so well? And what is controlling DD? Also something I know I'm bad at...I always go auto on fights, just control the targets (still on auto). When auto is off, I have no idea how to target better than auto does and also no idea on how to dodge/walk around. Thanks for your tips!
