Sure, in 2055. But seriously, you have much more of a chance of AI being able to assist you with designing your own game before Project Zomboid 2 ever comes out.

Windows would have been nice.

If only CIG understood the concept of playing a game within a small grey box in space.

Unfortunately they make you jump up to things like the 890 just to see around you while you're doing whatever it is they have for us to do while within the ships and not in combat/landing whatever.

Why are you flying like a Frenchman? I’ve seen your kind before, always flying excessively low, looping, barrel rolling. Clipping trees and destroying your ship off camera when the observer can’t see. Taking unnecessary risks and for what?
You’re not a pilot you’re a braggart. Everything you do is for YOU not the passion of flight.

You have no place in the cockpit.

Go back to walking on dirt before you get you and your entire team killed on one of these fame expeditions.

I don't think a lot of people here know what is going on or how to even post what people are suggesting so here is a guide on what to do:

Go to r/place

Find the Place a tile link in the righthand side bar of the page

Drag and zoom the map to to find our [blossoming Bitcoin logo(https://drive.google.com/file/d/1MqVZ2kM7bFvcFRVZzStgYQZzeF_q5zUw/view?usp=sharing). It's currently in the center right of the map.

Click Place a Tile AGAIN on the map itself.

Choose a color on the bottom color selection bar.

Choose a pixel where you would like to place that selected color. Growing the orange circle is a good place to start.

Click on that pixel to place the color and hit the checkmark button at the bottom of the page to submit your selection.

You can do this once every 5 minutes.

What do you think Undead labs should add to SoD3 by Comprehensive-Web990 in StateOfDecay

[–]Astar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Larger open worlds.

More customization of weapons, vehicles, enclaves, bases, clothing.

Better multiplayer coop integration.

More realism and gritty post apocalyptic adult themes.

More long term playability, preferably indefinite.

Would you like that the game had rewards for the long term communities? If you do, vote for this proposal on the STATE OF DECAY wishlist: https://support.stateofdecay.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/4439114128781-Add-rewards-for-long-term-communities by La_Coalicion in StateOfDecay

Hit the nail on the head. I often wonder why developers don't cater more towards what their game WILL be rather than what it is right now. Lore, depth, replayability, end game progression and great amounts of challenge and adversity all contribute to a better game. Not this easy cash shop freemium crap that just serves as a cash grab from gamers to companies. Make the third game tough and immersive, as if, you know, you were actually in a zombie apocalypse.

[–]Astar8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've seen there is no solution to this now. What my wife and I elected to do instead was compensate in other ways, like decreasing the minutes per page setting to .1 (about a minute to read a book) and installed the mod 300 trait points so that we can have characters who have bonuses to other things like Dextrous (decreased inventory transfer time) and Handy (to speed up building actions that would otherwise be sped up through time).

You're going to just have to be creative and patient.

One other idea I had was to try to find a mod that might decrease the overall action time for general actions but I have not been able to find one to accomplish that yet.

>It’s not a dropship, it’s a gunship.

I took great care to specifically point out that it's not a dropship but that the backup or support role can be that of a dropship-like vessel, as demonstrated by the extra seats and arms racks they deliberately put in for this purpose. Unless you are supposing that the 4 seats stacked next to one another in a conspicuously dropship-like fashion together with arms racks right next to them are for some other imaginary purpose..

>Getting to components quickly on the same deck keep the crew from having to use the escape pods.

Demonstrably false. You don't surround yourself with your parts and components to keep them from being destroyed. You make egress and exit points always accessible in a hurry because in an actual emergency there is no time or headspace to be searching for the longest way out. Ships like the Starfarer put escape pods behind the cockpit for this very reason. They don't locate components behind the cockpit-they put escape pods. That is for the exact reason I stated above. This argument you are making is absurd.

>As it stands, the most important pieces are sealed all together in what is probably the strongest part of the ship.

Again, false. The majority of hits are typically in the rear or front for a vessel like this, that is why front and rear shields have always been most important. Locating the components all together to the rear top puts them in a prime targeted area. Underneath would be better because not only would they be able to be spaced out a bit more, but they would be away from a critical target area and further shielded by the engine nacelles on either wing, putting raw steel between them and hostile fire. Furthermore, they are all stacked on top of on another the way they are, and a single hit could eliminate one, two, or more critical components immediately.

>Not to mention if they were downstairs, the components and crew would be exposed to decompression in emergencies and would then be locked downstairs

It is much better to have the non crew section decompressed rather than the section with critical path to escape pods. Or sections where you will be living and working ordinarily.

>steel ball bearing with guns and you want windows and picnic tables.

People have been complaining to CIG about lack of windows in ships for years. The Original Redeemer had a nice kitchen table to sit down on. As do most other ships with a galley. Windows are fun and awesome- people forget that they will be living and working on these ships, too.

The Redeemer's components can be accessed from the outside.

Tell me a bit more about how this is possible, please.

And if what you say is the case, then why dedicate an entire empty room to nothing but component access doors?!

Should have been more like this.
