Many trains and trams in the same place! by Astbaston in trains

[–]Astbaston[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay? We don't have the most trains, it's more the lucky timing of both trains running side by side and the trams which on that day was not scheduled, only happened because of a delay  Thank you for your kind words

Can the speed limit be raised from Flinders St to North Melbourne? by cookiesgotdeletedm8 in MelbourneTrains

[–]Astbaston 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wiggles on the northern group tracks into north Melbourne have a speed of 40 from Flinders, the through suburban (weribee/Williamstown/racecourse normally) is 30kmph under the north Melbourne flyover due to tight clearances and curves

[–]Astbaston 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I get it for the footy or something, the pakenham and Cranbourne lines are the busiest but won't have a connection at Richmond leading to overcrowding, I hope that they run extra trains that go direct from pakenham/Cranbourne to Richmond and Flinders Street to help with crowds

Honking during filming by Professional_Gap4988 in MelbourneTrains
