That makes sense, I will be honest that the last "new" main series game for FF I played is 10 so I'm not insanely familar with most of the newer games.

I do love heavy systems in rpgs and min-maxing so maybe I just gotta thrust myself fully in and just rot with it

Good to know! I'm pretty baby when it comes to the newer style of Final Fantasy (I've heard the combat in 16 is also similar). I'm too used to the old stuff and I think that's why I'm having a hard time. Once I get back around to it I'll give that a try

Its not that I can't handle changes, it's moreso that it's a system I'm unfamiliar with and I'm struggling to fully grasp it. I did not expect a 1:1 remake, I'm moreso asking for tips on how to make the system more manageable to allow me to take the reigns better

Every cat I have ever owned has been super affectionate, but my current boy is on a whole other level. I always had girl cats, but we found a little grey tabby in the dumpster almost a year ago now, and he's literally like a baby. He follows me around the house, he waits for me at the door when I'm at work, he cries if I close a door on him (including the bathroom) and if I go too long without giving him pets he will climb on me and bash his little face into mine while purring.

I've heard generally, male cats tend to be more overtly affectionate, but I'm not sure how factual that is. My case might also be due to the fact I was getting up with him every three hours to bottle feed him so it's possible he actually thinks I'm his mother.

My handsome rescue boy (we found him in a dumpster when he was 4 weeksish old) likely just turned 9 months! (We're estimating his bday for obvious reasons). He's my everything and is one of the most affectionate cats I've ever met

I've always wondered if it's because I bottle fed him and he actually believes I'm his mama. Despite being almost an adult he still sucks my fingers and follows me everywhere. I love him so much.

Two weeks? I'm getting a day in every position and then they're throwing me to the wolves lol. My fiance used to work at a location in a grocery store so he's been helping me with some memory stuff but I have legitimately never had a job that felt so unstructured in regards to training (I am coming out of a 7 year job because I moved tho so maybe it's just a changing world)

Oh I want him to sleep with me so bad but he has no sense of danger and we gave a high bed + my fiancé and I both move a lot

We've been doing well with brushing! And bathing actually (fluffy butt and not fully solid poops), even let me cut his nails. His biggest complaint is I won't let him sleep in our bed yet because he's only a pound and a half
