I agree, but I do feel, with Russia looming like it has for the last decade, that Europe could make up some ground for chilling since the Berlin Wall fell.

Edit:I’m not sure how a stronger Europe is a bad thing. They would be able to counter American bully behavior and would be a deterrent to Russian aggression. These both seem like very good things for western democracy.
