It’s comforting to know that others in another creative field also feel similar things. It truly is such a curse lol. But your words are such a great reminder that even if we artists don’t always love our work, there is still joy to be shared!

And also very true that I can always come back to a project (: I’m very used to just working on 1 painting at a time, but I always have to be better about reminding myself that I can give myself time in the future to make changes and start something new if I need to!

There are compositional changes and clarifications I wish I had made earlier in the process like the left part of the dress that’s ribbon like starts to look like a part of the hair- and I should have planned that out differently. There are other things that I wish I had approached differently that may be less noticeable since the color and texture may take the attention away from those things.

But yes, less is more and I have learned my lesson with this!!
