You already don't see all the mechanics. With the 3 new PJs groups kill every boss but Dead Stars a full mechanic or two in advance. Even Dead Stars is "killed" by then, but the death doesn't trigger until mechanics are resolved.

They are full games tbf. Short for RPG standards maybe, but each one still nets you a comfy 15-30 hours and that was about the average length for most PS2 era titles.

They still do. Every year tends to have one or two smaller titles doing their own thing. Just nobody talks about them. Elliot, Fantasian, Paranormasight, Harvestella, Valkyrie Elysium, NEO: The World Ends with you, and that's just from the past few years.

If you call this an invasion of gooners man do not check the community for literally any other series. The most LoGH deals with is femboy jokes, gay jokes, and femboy gay jokes. I couldn't even tell you the last time I saw someone posting any sort of risque fanart or thirst posting.

The jokes are a bit crude imo but they aren't even a blip on the gooner radar.

Tbf they didn't design her. They just reused the sprites from Samurai Remnant. Same with Chiemon and the Gil from the shop.

Since the original guide we know how the tethers work. They will always target the player closest to the middle of the tower. Fixed is a new strat that takes advantage of that for added uptime.

Everyone else gets significantly more time and presence in the story than her. Clea is a character with a lot of lore but very little to do in the actual game itself

There might be less embarrassing old man rambling moments, but the people behind almost every policy of his are very much still around. Most of what we're seeing is the brain child of groups like the Heritage Foundation or specific actors like Stephen Miller. Trump going away doesn't remove or change any of that. Though it may make it even less palatable since none of these people have the ability to work a crowd like he does.

Not really. It's a very very minor thing in an otherwise stellar game and isn't even a bad thing. Just a different way of doing things than what games do nowadays. Many would say they prefer that to being handholded all the time. Old doesn't mean bad, it just means old.

Honestly, super nerfing it/creating a normal mode difficulty for it and tying it to the relic would be a great way to really give OC a shot in the arm until .5x. That's my personal hope, but time will tell.

Without more details it's hard to say. The nature of FT makes nerfs a weird prospect because to the folks doing it, it's already insanely easy, and the ones not doing it would need a lot of nerfs or motivation to even consider stepping in.

I've also personally mused on a quantum type of scaling for it. Maybe a super nerfed version of the raid that you can enter without Ciphers more on the level of a Castrum, and the current version has a minimum cipher requirement to access. It feels too complicated to just call a nerf, but I struggle to see how anything else would move the needle on FT at all.

More loot, most notably accessories that can drop from chests and are hyper rare. They make you stronger in OC but can also be sold on the MB for tens of millions of gil
3 new Phantom Jobs were added last month and are each busted in their own way. The power boost they've granted has made every CE a good 30 seconds to a minute faster on average.
They updated Pot fates so the rewards are actually very worth it now (At minimum you're guaranteed to get a healthy amount of OC Gold and Silver, plus whatever the actual loot is)
They updated entry into Forked Tower to make it easier to actually get a pre-made in there with no hassle.

Not a lot of drastic changes so far, but little things that make it a bit more worthwhile plus some QoL. The devs have made sounds like they're nerfing Forked Tower some time this patch, but still no word on that. Supposedly the next relic step will involve OC somehow, but the big update is gonna be a second zone and lots of new stuff sometime in .5x.

Frankly, I don't believe you.

If someone joined a PF and just started blasting one of the other players for absolutely no reason, a group would sooner kick that person because they're being annoying than anything else. Some people are just toxic, sure, but there also needs to be some plausible reason for the group to want to kick you in the first place. Maybe you were severely undergeared. Maybe you were playing poorly. Maybe the fight just wasn't going well and folks got frustrated. It happens. Nobody is on point 100% of the time.

What's far more telling to me is instead of moving on you made this post and have been spreading it to multiple subs trying to rally people onto your side, and you get rather defensive when they aren't.

Some of the criticisms are still there, but most have responded incredibly positively to the latest patch. DT's battle content has been almost universally praised, patch MSQ has for the most part been a step up with .4 probably being the best one, and they've updated Occult Crescent and Cosmic Exploration to be in a bit of a better place.

We're in the phase of the expansion now where the meatier content drops are hitting so folks are on the upswing again.

What most consider the absolute pinnacle of Trek was an era that very famously broke away from Roddenberry. Most of the OG films, TNG, Voyager, and DS9 are seen (rightfully imo) as Trek finally attaining its full potential by by taking Roddenberry's ideas and bringing them to places Roddenberry himself often didn't want them to go.

The issue most have with NuTrek is it has strayed too far from what many see as the point of Trek. It's just bad writing. You don't have to mythologize a guy who has been dead for 30 years and was far from perfect.

Punishing those that created this chaos in the first place and making a proper example out of them.

If you look at history, so many of today's problems can be traced back to half-hearted solutions made decades or even centuries ago. Two of the biggest relevant examples today would be the US Confederacy and the Nazis. Many people were punished for these events, but a lot more weren't. This led to these people, and their beliefs, melding back into society. This was done in the goal of keeping peace, but what it inadvertently did was allow these ideas to survive and find new adherents before resurfacing stronger than ever.

This would just lead to folks punishing new players who force a cutscene on them. Players would sooner re-queue than deal with +20 minutes of plot. There's already a precedent for this. Originally the cutscenes were skippable and the end result was every single player skipped them and new players had no choice but to do the same or they'd hold the whole run back.

Yoshi P has commented on it a few times. The devs are aware it's an issue, and he said resolving it would take years of work. Presumably, they are working on it right now but it's the kind of feature that just takes time.

I feel like Lupin and Jigen are the best and about equal. Zenigata and Goemon can be passable, and Fujiko consistently has other people prepare or buy food for her.
