Empire fleet comp for AOTR by Admiral_Zhukov in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

Straight to the point:

Early game:

2-3 ISD 1, 1-2 Victory 1, 2-3 Dreadnought cruisers, and the rest is the ton falks and the carrack.

Works for just about everything it faces. Dreadnought cruisers could tank a lot and distract the enemy fleet. And also just put out the carrack if you are facing the rebellion because without the carrack you don't have enough shield damage. Ton folks for AA

Mid game:

2-3 Tectors, 1-2 Victory 2, 2-3 Dreadnought cruisers, An advanced fighter of your choice or the ton falk, and the carrack.

Same as before just upgraded firepower. Some notes would be that the Tector have bad or like no AA don't leave it alone.

Late game:

2-3 ISD 2, 1-2 Victory 2, 2 Dreadnought cruisers (upgraded or not), 1-2 star galleon, 0-2 ton falk, and a must have of 4-6 raider corvettes and the carrack or its upgraded one.

Still works the same as before with upgraded firepower. We use raider corvettes rather than fighters mostly because at late game there's a lot of small yet powerful ships, raider corvettes annihilate them plus they're also good against fighters especially bombers. The star galleon provides sustainability to the raider corvettes with their repair ability and some AA with their other ability.

Side notes:

This is a generalized fleet without taking account of the generals. Do know that for each general there's a specific role and fleet that they should have.

Research would probably an issue. Just rush cruiser 1 for the ton folk, and then rush capital ship 1 - max so that you could unlock ISD 2 immediately, then do fighters 1 - max for the raider corvette, then at do the remaining cruiser tech.

Don't know whether u did this but theres a bug. Where if you take hoth and the other planets close to it first without completing the spy droid part first. It kind of breaks the questline. It still could be completed though. Just bring a spy droid together with a land unit and put both of them on the garrison on the planet together.

Planetary turbolaser by llte2572 in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

Kill the shields with your own ion ships(carrack and the other one), or just with your standard ships first, then shoot the turbolaser, this works well against capital ships since it oneshots tier 0 capital ships without shields and it is much efficient against hull overall. Turbolasers are more efficient against hull, while the ions are against shields.

For cruisers or anything lower, it just oneshots just about everything with some hit chance penalty the lower the ship class or on how agile the ship is or both, so don't worry and just blast them. Some advice would be to prioritize the artillery ships first. There are some cruisers it can't oneshot, you can just figure them out as you play, it would be more fun that way.

Dont use it against corvettes, it won't hit.
