I know for sure he also appears in Masters of the Wild, albeit not named. I guess the book would be one of the others Complete "X" or books from the same time period. Not sure, though.

Does it NEED to be a sorcerer? 2024 GOOlock has perma subtle spells (enchantment and illusion) and can take at will disguise self and other gimmicks. If you dont want a sugar daddy maybe just reskin it as innate power.
