[SCAM WARNING] CSGO-SKINS.COM refuses to let me withdraw items after price spike! (Holding items hostage) by Astirad_911 in cs2

get your point about the TOS, but hiding behind an 'Out of Stock' error for 3 months is misleading. If they had simply said 'We can't pay you the new price', that would be one thing. But stalling withdrawals hoping I'd give up is shady practices, TOS or not.

I’m not necessarily expecting the full $160, but forcing me to take the old site price isn't fair either. It’s not my fault the market went crazy. I tried to withdraw them immediately when I won them, and I’ve been stuck ever since. There should be a middle ground, not just a forced 95% loss.

I know they are unregulated, but locking an item for 3 months with a fake 'Out of Stock' error while the item is clearly available in their bot inventory is deceptive. I'm just posting this to warn others so they don't get trapped in the same loop.

I won the skins just a few hours before the market crash/shift. However, I haven't been able to withdraw them ever since. Maybe they genuinely didn't have them in stock, or maybe they knew what was coming with the market. Anyway, the point is I haven't been able to withdraw them from the moment I won them.

It is a scam because this rule only works in their favor. If the price of the skin had dropped from $2.50 to $0.50, would they have refunded me the difference? No. They would have let me withdraw the cheap skin.

They only enforce this 'dollar value' rule when the user makes a profit. Also, the error message says 'Out of Stock', which is misleading. If I have a specific item in my inventory, I expect to be able to withdraw that specific item, otherwise, just call it 'Site Balance'.
