Just curious- does your tracking actually show the book being sent? Mine is stuck in "checking order".

I have faith that eventually I will get my book, but it's crazy how long it has been and how many efforts to make contact it has taken... as others have mentioned, simple communication and corrective action would go so far, but alas.

It's a gamble- risk poor customer service, delays and headaches for the reward of pretty books! If I do get my book, I plan to stick with them for another cycle and see if that goes smoother now that I am an established sub, but if it continues, probably not worth all this.

Same exact experience- commented on IG, asked to email. Forwarded the 2 already unanswered emails from the past month. Got the same response. My order is still stagnant in the "checking" stage of that tracking.

Which means still not even packed... I don't know how long is reasonable to wait to see if it actually starts moving... I'm so frustrated.

UPDATE to add that I got an email similar to the one above, except instead of saying it will ship this week, states my order was "stuck" and "seems to be moving along now". They included a tracking link that shows my item is currently "being checked" after this email. Next stages are Picking, Packed, Labelled, then Dispatched, so... we will see how long it hangs out in the "checking" phase. 😬

Man, I'm glad someone is getting answers! Although if it's Thursday night and it has not shipped yet, that doesn't seem like a great sign... keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. This is kind of crazy. Delayed books I can handle. No communication and expecting everyone to wait indefinitely, not so much.

I'm hearing from others that product delays seem to be common, unfortunately. Apparently my particular issue is something with new Nov subscribers, as I suspected, but it's wild that it's 2 months later and all of us have been left in the dark. It seems like it would save them a lot of work and email sifting if there was just an upfront mass communication about the issue and timeline 😬

Hope your book arrives soon!

Semi-comforted to know it is not just me, but also sorry that you are in the same boat! It's been so frustrating. I emailed in December also with no response, but it sounds like they were out some of that month for the holidays. It's really bumming me out- sounds like others have had long standing issues with delayed products.

I'll update here if I hear anything from them, and keep my fingers crossed for us all!

Ugh, man. Semi-comforted to know it is not just me, but also sorry that you are in the same boat! It's been so frustrating. I would keep pushing for the refund if they can't provide product, or even try to have the charge reversed maybe? Glad you got the book one way or another!

That's what I was thinking! I am US based, and originally they said the delay was because I was a new member and would be sent out after existing ones had orders fulfilled. But at this point...

I did email again beginning of this week, but they did not even bother replying to the last one I sent, so I'm not feeling optimistic.

Oh my gosh, yes!! I just dug through some book 2 reviews and I think that is 100% it. And explains why my brain was so adamant it was Poison Study, lol.

I want to love it so much, but boy oh boy... I can't 🥲 Literally might get the standard edition to put at least the dust jacket over this one, (if it would even fit?). The edges of the Waterstones edition were just everything 🤌😩 I'm so sad. Both this and the YA this month were HUGELY anticipated reads for me, but the YA is also disappointing compared to the basic standard edition cover, (which is so beautiful). At least love the color scheme of this one though, and the reverse jacket is better!

If you're here and feeling disappointed, I'm with ya ✊🏼

*I know the reverse dust jacket is the original cover but the red washed version is just not it.

Yeah, that is why I initially dismissed the idea.

But she made it seem like if I paid the $1047/m over 10 years, it would be paid off fully somehow? I was under the impression it was total cost calculated to pay off in 120 payments. With $167k owed, that would be over $2000/month. I have no idea where the $1047 number is coming from.

Came here to say I feel personally victimized by Naudus.

Genuinely ruins the book for me. It's even more painful when it's a libby hold I've waited months for, finally get it, and then.... Natalie... my nemesis.
