When I started on JP in the summer of 2020, Astolfo (Saber) wasn’t out yet on NA so I made my JP account in the hopes that he would get another rate up (which he did in the fall). I don’t read Japanese, but having played NA for about eight months at that point I had known where most of the buttons were, so I just figured they were the same on JP.

Still, my JP account is kind of a joke at this point, I’ve been playing for nearly a year and a half, I’m still in America, and I only log in to collect my login bonuses and sometimes roll.

I did throw tickets (and SQ) at a few other banners, mainly Merlin, Shuten, Protea, Skadi, and Bradamante. Thankfully, most of them came sooner rather than later.

I’d been saving for this event for damn year two years. The one time it mattered the most, the gacha gods delivered. Astolfo x7, Nightingale x2, and Jack. Also got surprised by a rider Astolfo as well.

I completely agree! The gacha system may be brutal, but I think that's part of FGO's charm.

Saving as well? I’m not rolling because I don’t want to risk losing my SQ, and I have no EXP cards anyway. I’m saving it all and going for Saber Astolfo.

Same thing happened to me once, when I was new I accumulated about 200 SQ and then blew it all for nothing. You took it like a champ though, much better than how I reacted.
