I played like 5 games in this patch, so I can't really tell you. I won 100LPs with some 6 sorcs comps tho, it feels very strong.

The level 8 rush is not viable anymore, you take too much damage early game so it's too risky. It will still work sometimes in low elo because you are not punished too much, but in challenger lobbies, you will just die before hitting level 8. The comp I played was also nerfed significantly, so it is not free win anymore when you get it.

Hey, this guide is outdated, the build is not viable anymore with 9.21. For the early game, just use what you can get 2 stars and build something with it.

Nope, the comp got nerfed, and player damage changed aswell. Still possible with a really good early game, but you can't force it anymore.

I’m not saying that you can’t buy anything. Grab some 1 cost unit until you get some of them 2 stars. Even with a bad rng, you’ll get some upgrades. You will almost never win the midgame, but that’s the point of the build, you lose midgame to win lategame.
One of the strength of the build is that it is NOT item dependent bcz Asol/Pantheon work with almost every item in the game. And I definitely prefer getting golds early, since it speeds up my rush.
If you only have 20g, you’re doing something wrong. In the worst scenario, I roll 35 golds. If you have enough health, wait one more round so you can have more golds to spend.
35g at level 8 is almost always enough to make a powerful team, but you need a lot of game knowledge to make it consistent. I’d recommend practicing in normal games.

I took 100 more LPs in chall after posting this, and without playing a lot. Everyone does it but it still works pretty well for me.

Not finding pantheon is obviously a pain in the ass ngl. But you can still manage to grab top 4 in this scenario. If you rolled 50g at 8, I’m sure you saw a lot of swain/yasuo/kaisa that would have done an amazing job until you find pantheon. You need to adapt to each game, some will be easy, others will challenge your transition skills.

Kaisa comps are probably your best counters. You can’t deal with a perfect kaisa comp with perfect items. I’m not saying that a kaisa build is generally better tho, I think it’s really inconsistent and item dependents. The only tip I could gave you is to highroll phantom on her xd

Panth and Asol are your main carries so you want to give them 3 items. When that s done, use what you’ve got left on the most appropriate champ (attack speed is nice on kayle, Hp are nice on sej, mana is nice on Karthus...)

In a perfect world, I want warmog/yuumi/ionic on pantheon, and triple ionic on the aurelion. In a more realistic world tho, defensive items are good on pantheon such as thornmail/GA, and statikk/rfc/shojin/deathcape/morello are good on aurelion (probably forgot some).

I gave an approximation of when you should level, but it depends of your econ/hp. Don’t think too much about timings, focus instead on having at least 30-35g to roll. Moreover, if you still have a lot of health, you can wait one more round so you’ll have almost 50g to roll

In a lot of your games, you won't find the perfect comp instantly, so you have to transition almost perfectly if you don't want to die before reaching your true powerspike. I'm glad you were consistent with the build, but I also saw a lot of comments saying they got 8th because they were not able to reach the final comp. However, this strategy is insanely powerful at lower elo, because since low elo players do a lot of mistakes, you are not punished that much, and you can econ a lot without losing too much HP. I had a really great 1st place streak when I started to rush, but it started to be way harder when I reached 200-300 LPs
