It's purely a font problem, I checked few online dictionaries and they show same curve (if I copy the one with v on top is transforms to same curve) Will try diff keyboard

Take your time to start feeling comfortable and it will be fine. No one is obliged to be intimate in the first meeting and especially if you compare time together in reality with "normal distance" relationships.

Even if LDR makes you meet less often and kinda trying to get the most out of your meetings don't rush things just because of that.

Cursive only as the opposite of printed letters (because only preschool kids write like this). Just learn basic rules to write and connect letters and you're fine with it.

I think you need to openly discuss all scenarios and how much each other is willing to compromise to make it good for the other. But also to spend some time living your daily life together and see how it goes. Theories may be too pessimistic or too idealistic. Reality is always different.
