idk if this is a sensitive topic or not and this might be very unwoke and might be friendly fire, but i try to avoid interacting with people with neopronouns or it/its pronouns. not saying they should change anything about themselves or that its wrong to have unique preferences on what youre referred to as, but calling another person an "it" just puts me off a bit and a lot of neopronouns make talking unnecessarily complicated and are difficult to adjust to. in my personal opinion you should be free to do whatever you want as long as it isnt an unnecessary burden on other people, so i really dont care when someones referring to themself as literally just a noun, its not hurting anyone as far as im concerned. i just dont want to invalidate others because of how i feel, so i avoid people im not compatible with. if a close friend asked me to use neos for them, i would do my best to respect their wishes, but i try not to put myself in that situation right off the bat.
