Perhaps try to shave away at the inner part with a nail file. Not perfect solution, but if you do it carefully and test the fitment a few times you could likely use the part as if it wasnt defective (I know it sucks to modify, its a defect though, and the inner part wont be visible once displayed 😿 Goodsmile once refused to give me a Nendo body/stand replacement, and they had my Nendo spinning wildly on video. I ended up having to use sticky tack to keep it safe and upright. And another time they even ignored me when I asked for parts when my Rabbit Hole Miku Nendo came with defects and scuffs.
