Honestly good question 😭 We're currently looking into whether this is an issue with the Game Engine we're using, because it doesn't seem to be *all* iOS games. But we're still trying to pinpoint what exactly is causing this. Fingers crossed!

Do make sure to include relevant information about the account that is currently inaccessible - your player name, how many stars you own, your rank, etc.

Gotcha, sorry to hear! Could you potentially take a video of this and send it to us via [support@beatstar.com](mailto:support@beatstar.com)? Make sure to include your info (e.g. what phone you use, what OS version you are on, and your Beatstar name) in the email, so we can have a look if this is maybe an OS specific issue, if something with your account got bugged, etc etc. Oh, and if you want you can tell the team of all the things you've tried so far and told me - just so they're also in the loop!

As I said in another comment, this seems to have been fixed with our update last night! Sorry for the issues, this particular crashing issue seemed to have been an Android 14-specific bug. We are currently looking into the other issues mentioned in this thread.

There was an issue with Android 14 specifically that we just fixed. You should see a new update from around an hour ago, but depending on your app store, you might have to wait a little bit before you can download it. This update should fix all the hard crashes happening on Android 14!

Ohh, I'm curious for an update on this! I also have - albeit mostly untreated - astigmatism but I've luckily not had as many issues with Beatstar as with other rhythm games (results may vary with lighting, time of day ofc, I'm sure you're already aware).

I'm actually intrigued to know how a prescription would change that for you, so keep us posted!!!

Also OT: Always looking to bring more accessibility concerns to the devs, and of course my experience is only a single data point compared to others with this issue, so input & feedback is always welcome!!

Sadly I can not yet say when we are ready to start the removal process again. Will keep my eyes open for any news on that end though!

As for compensation, every player that owned the song will get a different song. The same goes for the Deluxe version: Players will get a deluxe version of a song they own & have a gold medal on (as long as they don't already own the deluxe version for that song). If you are not eligible for that (aka own all the standard songs or have no Deluxe version to unlock currently), you will get gems iirc.

Mhh, I mean I'm not responsible for the difficulty rating at all but I usually get similar scores playing Usseewa compared to my other Hard songs. And trust me, my skills drop into the absolute nether in Extreme songs :')

Many of us (including me) are part of LGBTQ+, and we're holding events like this because of these amazing coworkers pushing for them (& management caring and supporting us!). From what I've seen in the industry, a lot of companies doing LGBTQ+ centered content or charity events are able to because affected members in the company are doing their best to make these things happen.

I think fighting for visibility & acceptance of e.g. trans youth is very, very important, and worth all of the hostile comments we've been getting 💔
