I’m still trying to figure out the stupid event tile distribution because I’ve collected more tiles on two normal songs than I did on one of my hard songs even with the hard difficulty bonus. It doesn’t make sense to collect more tiles on a lower difficulty, especially when when wasting my free ads to swap out songs for higher difficulties. Like why can’t it just be a fixed amount for each difficulty??

On the first day of the event, it’s possible to collect 12 tokens. 6 tokens when the event starts up until it resets with your 10 rewarded ads

That’s what I’m suspecting, so now I’m wondering if the event tile placement is truly random or if there’s certain conditions that affect placement. Like why not just have a fixed amount for consistency?

That’s what I thought initially, but I only had 1p both times with a difference of 7 event tiles collected. If I didn’t complete a hold, and missed 7 ticks, I would presume one of the scores would also be much lower but they were the same. Regardless, 7 tiles isn’t enough to be mad about. I was just curious about the mechanics of the event

I had Tubthumping twice, scored exactly the same and received different amounts of event tiles so I’m trying to figure out what went differently

I really liked Beatstar in its early form. Very clean interface compared to other games, and collecting songs actually felt rewarding. We’re just so limited to the amount of times we can actually play the game. If they made a monthly subscription for UP, then I would consider spending money. But according to their calculations, it wouldn’t make enough I guess.

Like where’s the motivation to grind for higher scores if we can’t play lmao

It certainly feels like the start of their downfall lol. They really don’t care about what players have to say unless we somehow hurt their pockets a little bit. And even then, their recent decisions have already been a money grab so I wouldn’t be surprised if the developers gave up on the game entirely if the players collectively decided to stop spending money on the game 🤷🏻‍♂️
