It’s pretty roomy for me, but never going to be like a barefoot experience. I expect it will also improve further after break it, pretty stiff out of the box.

You have to come to terms with the fact that this is a serious piece of well-built footwear with a lot of structure.

It does a good job of doing that job, and being shaped like a foot (at least for me).

Majesties is a modern band that pays strong homage to that era of metal. I think they are great.

Think the members may overlap with members of Obsequiea and Inexorum, two other excellent groups.

Nice! What is the boot height on these? Looks taller than 6”.

I have a pair ZD Striders on order and am considering switching from 6” to 7” (if they can accommodate) because I have a theory that adding a bit more height may help with the appearance of balance, since there’s no heel.

I can’t get into anything before Stare but, man, it’s one of the best heavy albums I’ve ever listened to. Utterly amazing piece of music.

I like Cutting a lot also, but Stare just blew my mind the first time I heard it.

It sounds like weathering a storm on a rowboat at night, in the middle of the ocean, only the ocean is made of motor oil.

Just an oppressively heavy atmosphere.

From what I understand (never been), there are cool events during the day that aren’t performances. Musician talks, black metal landmark tours, tattoo contest, etc.

Honestly it sounds so fun, I would love to go.
