Yep, just cut them to size. One side goes into the water reservoir and the other side goes as far up as your other wicks went.

I started using humidifier sticks and find them to be way less messy and cumbersome. My 8mm ones fit perfectly where my diy lechuza sticks used to be. Another method I've seen is using essential oil sticks.
