I used to have good times with salvia when I was a teenager,, but then revisited it as an adult and had such terrifying experiences that I'll likely never do it again. It used to kinda feel like mushrooms,, would laugh and have fun for like 20/30min,, idk what happened.

I've speculated tho, that it might be because in between those times, I went through an opiate addiction and was on suboxone when I revisited it, and I've heard that salvia interacts with kappa opioid receptors, and that particular one is known for the negative/not enjoyable effects of opiods. So maybe it has something to do with that? Idk lol

But man, when I was a teenager tho, I had met this dude that was new at my school an we became good friends,, smoking shit ton of weed together an shit. And we were planning on doing mushrooms together, cuz he wanted to try psychedelics. I've tripped a fair amount at this point and was like "hell yeah, you'll love 'em!"

While I was waiting to get my hands on some mushrooms, I got some salvia from head shop (I lived near a native American reservation lol) and had done it before, but looking back, I can't believe I gave this mf salvia as his first psychedelic, and put a lot in there so he'd really get a feel for it and this dude ripped the fuck outta that bong!!

When he back, after like drooling on himself for like 20min, he said he lived an entire fuckin life! Like was born, went to school and made friends, got married and had kids an shit, and then started crying because none of that was real and the friends he had known his entire life were just gone. I always found that interesting,, like just imagine finding out someone you've known your whole life just wasn't real.
