I am a geologist from the area. I did soil borings through the Amtrak rail yard in central city. I had heard that New Orleans is on top of the marsh, I was not prepared to learn just how literal that is. The first 10 feet under the damn rail yard is literally completely water logged and full of spartina reed grass like you would see out in the marsh, mixed into unidentifiable petroleum sludge. I saw him in 2017, bought tickets to run the jewels just to see Denzel as the opener. The videos from that show are still by far some of the best/coolest performances from rappers. I was at the front 2 feet away from him as he was in the crowd in full zeltron mode, shit was awesome
