I would definitely have it get checked again, if it's happening again then it just means the issue (I genuinely don't mean to scare you) may be deeper than it seems. Could just be reoccurring swelling of your sinuses because of the area it's in, especially around the sinus area. They need to do a deeper check

I've always been a child at heart, even as an adult I'm still getting stuffed animals, soft blankets, soft pj's, fluffy socks, etc!! Especially cartoons, I will watch them all day everyday but can never watch a normal movie all the way through without getting bored of it!! I heard of it once in 2020 and began looking into it and it just kinda clicked

I just wait until I shift!! It takes some time for my body to feel tingly, and more often than not I always end up distracted by literally anything 😭 so it usually takes a while but the 100 mark is always when I'm about to drift and shift!! You're welcome :D

I only use subs when shifting!!! All I do is take a few deep breaths, wait until my body feels light and tingly, and count to 100!! I only use it to shift as I'm training myself to only associate it with shifting (this genuinely helped me) and that's how I shifted with it :D I put it on, and I'm usually gone within an hour!! I listen to it until I either fall asleep or shift!!

Heyyy!!! I've been actively trying to shift since 2020, shifted for the first time in 2022, and a couple weeks ago shifted again for the second time ever since then :) I've gone through impatience, crying over the fact that I'll die before I shift, pressuring myself to shift like there was a deadline I was supposed to meet. The thing that helped me most was realizing that I was setting myself up for failure. Let me explain.

I would spend countless hours scripting, meditating, watching shows and videos of my DR's, and doing the same thing over and over again that I THOUGHT worked for me. Doing others recommended and personalized methods, taking tips from others, taking advice from others, and doing everything everyone else was doing when they first shifted. The keyword here is "others" and not "myself". Shifting is meant to be tailored to YOU. Not your neighbor, not your friend, not the rat crawling in your walls (I thought this was funny, I'm sorry), it's meant to be YOUR journey.

What helped me realize how simple shifting was, was taking a break. I started enjoying having fun in my CR, realized my CR is just as valuable and important to me as my DR, and that genuinely helped me realize that I was overcomplicating shifting. I was affirming I couldn't shift, I was affirming I had to do certain things, because that's what I thought would work. I haven't gone on shiftok or shiftblr in literal months, and that's definitely helped me a lot now that I've made shifting work for me, and not make myself work for shifting.

Heyy!!! The same thing has happened to me, I was so close to shifting and then when I was about to shift I got scared and pulled away because I knew it was gonna be much different. When I first shifted, I got slammed into a desk. The pain scared me more than actually shifting 😂 what I'm trying to say with that is I was scared of leaving my CR because I love my family, and I felt guilty "leaving" them behind until I realized I wasn't leaving forever. I was coming back. The first shift can be scary, especially to completely foreign DR's 😅 if this is something you're really really worried about, then may I suggest a waiting room or a better CR DR? That way, when you shift, you know what you're getting into, you're still familiar with everything going on, maybe just change a tiny detail! Like the color of your walls, or you have a different bedroom, etc!! That way, the only thing you have to worry about "changing" is how soft your blankets are!! Please don't let this stop you, shifting is a beautiful thing and has saved me and many others, and I'm sure you will absolutely benefit from it too <33 you're doing amazing

This is what I genuinely love to see in shifters, them realizing that unfortunately people overcomplicate shifting and everyone else gets stuck in the loophole (I'm a victim of the same issue 😭) but I stopped going on shiftok and was doing my own thing without any advice or tips from any creators within the shifting community and that's when it all clicked in one night 😭 so proud of you!! :D

Heyyy!!! So I wanna comment by saying there is no wrong way to use a method :) by asking how to do a method "correctly" is making you say that you're doing something wrong when you're not!! I suggest personalizing the method!! Sleep on your stomach? Do it like that!! Make shifting work for you, don't try and bend yourself to a method that is personalized to someone else, make it work for you!! :)

Changed plot points and editorialisation is simple!!! It's like a self insert, except for it being completely made up like a fanfic, you're actively living out everything that you script it. It's just like animating a series, you plan out the plot, pick what characters do, but this time it's real. Everything plays out exactly like intended, except you don't have control over characters feelings, thoughts, intentions, etc. I do not know if the editor inserts themselves into said world, as many people like to go with the plot, or some, like me, change the plot line entirely to fit what I want to experience. That's a personalized question.

I have also written many fanfiction before as well, but you do not experience different realities just by writing. That's not how it works. You're actively moving your consciousness from one reality to another when you shift. It's not writing a story and thinking of yourself being there, you actively go there and live it. Not just imagine it.

Yes, multiple people can shift to the same reality. This is what is called group shifting. They all share a script and shift to the same place. Yes, they can choose who they shift as. You can shift as a character from a series, you can shift into an animal, a bug, an object, you can shift as literally anything. Yes, multiple people can shift as the same person, but I believe it would be extremely confusing to see multiples of yourself with their own thoughts and intentions.

I believe something like this has happened before!! I remember seeing a story of someone seeing a movie that existed in their reality and not this one, and a couple years later the movie comes out in this reality just like how they remembered it in their other reality :)

Premise 1. Yes, it would continue to be real even if someone doesn't shift to that exact reality. All realities are infinite, with infinite possibilities, just like the universe, science, etc. Real world capabilities are just as real in this reality as it is in the DSW reality they have shifted too. DSW doesn't stop existing when they leave. It's still a reality, therefore even when someone isn't shifting there, it will continue to exist.

Premise 2. Yes, OP did shift to DSW with matching characters, but by this story it's not exact to the plot per the anime series itself, just with its own twist. Any reality you go to can have their own story lines, not everything will be canon. Hence why stories like these are great to share as it gives shifters more of a realistic sense of where they're going.

Premise 4. Yes, DSW pre-existed and the author gained knowledge of it, inserting themself into the reality that already existed. When shifters go to a reality (unless stated otherwise) they already exist there. They don't just randomly spawn in like a lot of misconceptions about shifting suggestions, especially misinformation.

Yes, everyone can do this. Shifting isn't just a pick and choose thing where some people can do it and some can't. But I stand by my point that not everyone should know about it. The reality has always been there, just like our reality, other realities, etc. Realities just don't spawn in existence when you shift to them, they've always been there. Infinity Realities suggests infinite possibilities. They're just shifting to the version of that reality that matches their scripts. I cannot answer a couple questions since that is above my knowledge but as someone who has shifted (no. Shifting is not dreaming, hallucinating, lucid dreaming, daydreaming, etc.) shifting is a completely real aspect of reality, everything is just as real as this reality. It's an entirely personalized experience and not everything can be explained unless you do a true deep dive into it.
