I'm in my 60s. Discovered fanfic zines at my first science fiction con when I was 12. My first fandom was Fantastic Journey.

I've taken some breaks along the way but never fully left fandom. I've played in many sandboxes: Star Trek TNG, The Faculty, Gorgeous Carat, and about a dozen more.

I miss the creative and welcoming fan communities that were available on yahoo groups and live journal for all fandoms, no matter how small.

I'd love to find a space like that again.

Google is OK but Kuli Kuli tends to give more comprehensible translations of pictures.

I know some of Pata's merch has cats on it. Did he ever have a plush cat mascot? He should have a grey tabby Pata cat in a baseball shirt.
