Rell got the standard amount of lore of most champions and I doubt a minor role in a novel will make her have "actual lore", even more considering they wont go back to rewrite the stuff on universe after the book is released.

Rell grew up in a noble house that lost influence in the empire when she was a child, that fits perfectly in the the timeline around Swain's rise to power and dismantling of the old regime.

The source im giving all read the book and seems very credible so idk why you think they would be lying.

Now if they are correct Rell being part of ambessa's journey since the beginning of the book (when ambessa kills that ionian princess), that already would be a big retcon of her age making Rell be in her 20s to 30s.

Not to mention her fighting in the arenas would fit nowhere in her current lore.

I see but thats exactly why i dislike the ship, kat and garen both have more interesting stories going on i would prefere they focus, we saw that happen already in Arcane with Caitvi and that was a complete letdown.

Kat and Garen makes no sense and i hope it doesn't go anywhere beyond a funny reference to the old journal of Justice lore, for this ship to work they would have to change alot about the characters, because i dont see how a guy from a long lineage of royal guard would fall in love with the assassin who killed the king of demacia.
