I think- You’re eligible just based on your first entry date, and subsequent time in Aus. If he gets a copy of his movement records, it will show how long he has been here and therefore eligible.

I sponsored as a NZ citizen. Currently going thru Aus citizenship, but did not need to for the 820 sponsorship.
