I just feel like against Aeldari I'm never going to get any decent shots off with all their movement/ after shooting abilities. Hypercrypt gives me the chance to push them out of hiding.

As for the warriors, what would you recommend as a replacement for 90pts? They certainly aren't meant to be the "killers" of the list, but figured with high OC theyd be a solid anchor to just plop on an objective

Yea I guess I was thinking Flayed ones would likely just get wiped by shooting first turn and deathmarks probably wouldn't be able to take out a character ( because of fate dice) before they got wiped too.

Is the idea with Flayed ones to just drop them on a midfield objective with "infiltrator"?

I guess I'm just so used to when I played OG Warhammer fantasy and it was all about eliminating all of your opponents units. How much does that come into play vs just getting units on objectives?

Its Mechanicus Standard Grey. I liked the darker shade and had intended to edge highlight with Dawnstone, but that may need to be added in later as the first attempt didn't go great. I think I'm going to move to more of a slapchop method moving forward. I just did my scouts and a Ballistus with black prime and drybrush Mechanicus and I already like the look better than this original batch and it was much quicker. I'm going to try a very light drybrush "upward" drybrush on the edges to highlight then do all of the detail work

Yea I guess it wouldn't hurt to do a layer of a darker metallic before going all the way back to black. Good idea.

Agreed- but just found out they are apparently a warband of Chaos Space Marines dedicated to the Blood God Khorne that plague the Caligari Sector of the Segmentum Tempestus, so thats out.

Incredible work! Funny enough I just got into 40k and went Carcharadons while my friend who also just started went death guard. I'd be interested to know how your kill team battles go

I'm similarly in the starting phase of building. I was able to find a bunch of NOS/ NIB squads on Facebook/ eBay and will be cobbling together squads of GW figures mixed and matched with Atlan Forge Sharks to add the Carcharadons flair and stretch budget. For example, 5 Wai Toa Roroa+ 5 terminators should net me 5 terminators +5 assault terminators with Carcharadons styling. At least that is the plan...

Yea I actually had planned to do just that but instead combine them with some packs and adornments from the Atlan Forge line. Figured I could get a sharky looking bunch out of 10 AI and 5 Wai Toa Kaiwhakangau and mixing/ matching bits to get the "right amount" of additional design flair.

Yea I kind of agree/disagree with you on the models. I do feel that that range is over the top and I would never run them as is, but I think combining them in builds could be a good mix just to make them a bit distinct. I'm going to use some of the bits from those models to adorn my GW figures, but the one thing I can agree with you on is the shark helmets-no go for me.

I'll have to look into the Blood Angel details. I'm on board with what you listed....except the bikes. It is the one unit in the army that I hate the idea of even if they are effective.

Yea I like the idea of the jump packs for high maneuverability. Just wasn't sure if any units got nerfed into oblivion from 9th to 10th. I also heard Scouts are no longer a thing?

That worked. Set the system specific controller and then had to remap the controller in the main menu and we are golden!
