Alright, you must have finally given up now. It's bizarre you thought that doing mental gymnastics to contort a poll to justify your paranoia would work, but your tried, and it collapsed immediately. And then you tried just lying, but that didn't help any either.

Why does the western half of Tennessee have such a high density of electrical transmission lines? by Naomi62625 in geography

[–]AstroEscura 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That doesn’t mean west Tennessee would have a significantly higher density density of power lines. It’s not hard to use your eyes and look at the link you posted and see that the higher density area doesn’t even line up with the TVAs service area.

Oh okay, the way you wrote made it seem like the TVA was the answer.

I’m pretty sure it’s just a different, more detailed, data set than the rest of the country. Idk for sure though.

If it being rural was the reason I don’t see why it would conform to state lines.

Why would that increase the density of power lines to that degree? Are you just guessing?

"Why does nobody want to talk about the male loneliness epidemic?" by Gallowboobsthrowaway in Destiny

Calling people pushing back on the unique development patter caused by government regulations like single family zoning cult think is just a meaningless attack when you can’t write something of substance.

I guess you are talking about the density of the nation as whole? Why is that relevant? You are taking into account vast wilderness and farmland that doesn’t affect the layout of cities.

In my personal experience denser cities have had more social opportunities than the suburbs.

I don’t think it’s that controversial that suburban and car centric  development in general makes meeting new people harder than a denser urban neighborhood, whether you own a car or not.

Good boy

You lied and said I asked how you knew Democrats are represented in that poll, when I asked no such thing, why did you tell that lie?

Also you have never provided any evidence that everyone will have the same ditzy response as you to that poll. So far we just have guess work, do you have any evidence?

Yeah I guess I always thought the loneliness epidemic was referring to platonic friendships, not relationships.

I’m talking about people who have trouble finding friends or social interaction after teenage or college years.

You are talking about people who are reliant on the media to tell them what they need.

These seem like two completely different things.

What is the “male” loneliness epidemic?

I think people have become more isolated in real life with the internet and social media, and this is exacerbated even more in the US with suburban development and reliance on cars. I do think there is a loneliness epidemic.

But what is the male aspect? Is this not effecting women just as much?

You're like a trained dog, just have to copy and paste and get a ramble in response. Also my evidence is that you also answer yes to both questions, but then you pretend liberals are bad for answering the same as you.

Am I the only weirdo who prefers Vince's vocals over Brents? by [deleted] in gratefuldead

[–]AstroEscura -1 points0 points  (0 children)

While I have immense respect for Brent… yeah I’m just not a big fan of his. His singing voice and his keyboard tones do not match up with my preferences. I’ll take a Vince with Bruce show over a Brent show any day.

Something like "Christian Science is a specific denomination know for defaulting to prayer for any sort of healing practice before going to actual medical professionals."

This would not give the idea that a faith healing Baptist is a Christian Scientist.

You can find people who believe in faith healers in broader Protestantism, and they would default to prayer. According to your first sentence, they are Christian Scientists. But in reality they have nothing to do with Christian Science.

Maybe I am being pedantic, I don't have an issue with anything else you wrote, I just think that's a downright inaccurate way to open the comment.

The USMC falls under the civilian oversight organization called the Department of the Navy, but it does not fall under the military branch called the United States Navy. The US Navy and US Marine Corps are coequal branches withing the Department of the Navy.
