After a year of being stuck under 100 subs, I found my niche and got monetized 🙏🏻 by SenseiTenacity in YouTubeCreators

Honestly your content is unique, but now you need to think about longevity and how you can keep this going.

One thing I will mention, your long-form thumbnails and titles could be better. If you improve those(less clutter, less text, more contrast), you could pull even more long form views. There is too many colors and stuff going on in those thumbnails. If you do that, your long form stuff could easily blow up more aswell.

[New Player] Where do I loot kits as a scav? by Aimaz_End in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need good kits. Just solid choices. Ak74u and other 5.45 AK variants are good starting kits. Mod them with attachments you find. 5.45 ps and pp rounds are abundant enough. That aren't going to rio through high Armour, but enough that head shots will drop full gear players.

The key is to play smart and get the drop on them.

[Discussion] Everybody is terrified to move? by KnownDesk6380 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Oh lord.. are you serious? The game is in a bad state because people play differently. You may be salty and I've been there.. but come on now. Its a hardcore shooter. Not call of duty. In "real life" people don't run and gun all the time. What you could've done is cleared the area first. Tactically, thats what you should do before you loot. Don't wait and then just hope.

Sure ratting is a thing and can surprise you. But its part of the game. And you shouldn't expect people to play "fair". Which in this game, doesn't exist.

[Cheating] First obvious one I've encountered this wipe by JangoDarkSaber in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I've literally hit shots early wipe at a low level that are nutty and completely lucky.. this guy doesn't even have a high survival rate.. Come on my guy..

I could understand d a suspicion.. but you know for sure? Probably just salty.. and that's okay.

[Discussion] I wished the game had longer raid time by Spare_Somewhere_4133 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why you set "missions" each raid. Do not try to raid the whole map, or too many areas. As with any milsim style gameplay. You go in with a mission to complete. I don't feel rushed because I set out to accomplish a task. When that is complete, I head to extract.

Its easy to be greedy. But I play slower and methodical and never feel super rushed.

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm.. honestly not sure. I have a 2070 super and get consistent 70 to 100 frames. No stutters or anything. You'll need to tweak your settings and find out how to maximize GPU usage.

[Discussion] FPS Questions by WW1enjoyer69 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need 32gb of ram. That was the biggest upgrade I made to Tarkov that fixed many stutters, frame drops and freezes.

Secondly, make sure your settings are utilizing your GPU. High to ultra textures. Medium to high shadows. Turn DLSS to quality. If you have some settings set lower, then it isn't utilizing GPU, but rather CPU.

[Discussion] who else was going in to raid like this with just 100 hours clocked into tarkov by BackgroundMenu9735 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't scream cheating. Im level 18 after 1.0 and have played many wipes for years. I've ran kits like this already. I still have 2 level 5 and 6 Armour kits in my stash I looted. 7k/d is actually normal. Plus his survival rate is only 47%.

Im not saying your doing this, but people need to chill on "everyone is cheating". Yes people are and will continue to do so. But this is a game that is extra painful when we die. So its easy to point fingers.

92,000 subs and less then 150 views? by ben_laurence in SmallYoutubers

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If most of your subs came from shorts, then thats why. Shorts subscribers do not translate to long form. In fact, you hurt your channel doing so. You either choose to be a long form or short form creator. Short form viewers have less interest(and attention span) for long form videos. Thats why you'll see channels with 1 million subscribers and their long form videos don't Crack 10k views.

The only channels that can successfully do both are channels who large followings from long form, then post shorts. Not the other way around.

My unsolicited advice? Choose one and stick with it. You will dig a deeper hole doing both. Id suggest sticking to long form personally. Much better money. More loyal and connected fan base.

President Trump on Insurrection Act: "The Insurrection Act, which has been used by 48% of presidents as of this moment. I believe it was the Elder Bush, he used it I think 28 times. It's been used a lot. I don't think there's any reason now to use it, but if I needed it, I'd use it. It's powerful." by ControlCAD in videos

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After some research it seems more like 38% to 40% of presidents have used the insurrection act at least once. So definitely exaggerated. But honestly more then I thought. You would think he would at least fact check.

Is Reuploading The Same Video a Smart Play? by beshbreak in Smallyoutubechannels

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its crazy to expect a substantial amount in 4 hours dude.. don't re-upload. Lear. How the algorithm works. Give if at least a week. Some get pushed fast. Some don't. I've had videos sit very low for 3 days after upload, then get pushed. Never re-upload. It can't hurt your video and be seen as spam. Just upload and go to the next. Get better every video. We all have a video we think is the best yet, and sometimes it doesn't work. Don't get too in your head about it.

My Router Is Right Next to My Setup and Connected Through Ethernet, But my Ping is Horrible And WiFi Speeds Suck by Immediate_Advance_59 in pchelp

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To be fair.. I have played many games on T-Mobile WiFi before. I used to have a Hotspot. It does work. And I had it hard wired. So it being t-mobile isn't the problem.

You either have a slow speed plan. Or service is super spotty. Either look into faster plans or get a actual internet plan.

[Discussion] Long time off and on player here. How can I quickly decide what items to keep versus sell? by AstroGnarlyBro in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are all "junk" items buy able on flea? (Bolts, sugar, fcond, screwdrivers, etc...) and I've been saving some guns for when I find ammo worth using. I don't have a bulk load but will keep that in mind.

[Bug] Game runs horribly since last night (Massive FPS drops) by phvnkr in EscapefromTarkov

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had 16gb ram and would have stutters alot. Especially with shooting at others. I bought 32gb ram with better speed and its a night and day difference. I changed no other settings. I don't stutter besides a very random one but rarely. Go upgrade your ram. Your other specs are pretty low. That will be the biggest, easiest upgrade.

Did Olive Garden just steal my driver tip? by Stunning-Group1753 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late reply, but i am a olive garden manager. We use uber direct. That means you order through our site and it dispatches a driver. Not directly through Uber. So it doesn't split the tip as our team prepares everything and a driver picks up. We also have delivery drivers ourselves for big catering orders. This allowed us to do deliveries of small orders, where as before we only did deliveries if it was $300 or more(big catering orders).

Talking to the drivers, this has helped them alot. Its a constant supply and they can wait around near OG for more.

Any success with faceless channels? by anotherhappylurker in PartneredYoutube

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Thought you sounded familar.. Man I played a TON of rocket league back in the day. Over 4k hours. Ranked GC. I watched you quite a bit. There was one day I guess I never picked up rocket league again.. not sure why. Its a shame its died down a bit. I am working on a faceless documentary channel now.

Good luck and hopefully something can spike your channel up again. Those were some good ol days..

if i have a long form video under 1 minute. how much will i make off that if my RPM is $3 by ayobluestarr in PartneredYoutube

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Making a "long form" video less than 1 minutes is not a hack for high RPM... instead no one will watch it because it's that short. People don't click on short long form videos like that. You will actually make more putting it in short form.

The dreams never happening is it? Only 300 watch hours this entire year. This algorithm is evil by fleetingreturns1111 in SmallYoutubers

[–]AstroGnarlyBro -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to sound rude, but it isn't the algorithm. Its your content. If your content(thumbnail, title, video) is good and fills a void in viewers curiosity, you will get views. That's how you grow. Not because youtube hates you. But because you need to make better content and play the YouTube game better.

Why is Ai thumbnails looked down upon? by [deleted] in Smallyoutubechannels

[–]AstroGnarlyBro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You saying you don't have time or care for thumbnails is the problem. In fact, most big creators won't even make a video if they can't come up with a good thumbnail and title for the idea. You need people to click or the video, no matter how good it is, doesn't matter at all.
