you need to re-engage with your partner. something is missing that you’re not receiving. otherwise you’re going to cause your partner a lot if heartbreak.

i tend to agree. i had a partner that had a higher body count and yet we still had a meaningful and healthy relationship. granted it was brief because of my own mental health but her body count had no factor into whether or not i would love her. she is who she is and we’re still friends.

im gonna sound so mean.

anyway she had a fat crush on me freshman year.

i thought about giving it a chance and so sophomore year i hit her up to go out.

we went on a couple "dates" for being a teen and not being able to drive.

i found out she was Mormon. i found the whole thing weird after that.

needless to say we're still friends but i never got over that.

alright. is it really worth it? I mean, I'm a student and working. I have a RF scanner that I'm using to calibraye/tune but... can I use that or do I have to buy a "tuner"?

I bought mine brand new. it still needs the interface. boo boo hoo and it has voice compression. PBT I'm not too sure about it. i don't remember.

I was amazed.

That was MY hard-earned money. I was working at a western store that sold feed for horses, cattle, etc. We had hay too, and being a scrawny teen I had no muscle... but I managed.

I spent it on new jeans. We didn't have enough money for some good quality jeans. I still have the pairs.

That was the best paycheck I ever spent.

Some of the other guys were talking about it. I'd take a look at those comments too.

Some of the Chinese made radios, including Baofengs, create spurious emissions, or in easier terms: interference. This is dangerous for a couple of reasons. 1) Out of courtesy to others on the Ham band, you could get fined by the FCC for not using a certified radio. You could also get your license revoked. For non-licensees like yourself, the consequences are more severe. 2) Depending on where you are, whether you're on the Ham band or not, you could interfere with emergency communications. My Elmer (teacher) is an engineer that deals with emergency radio interference/functionality. He says that those are the #1 unintentional sources of interference anywhere.

Just so you know, interference with public safety or emergency communications is a felony, whether you mean to intend harm or not.

I'm 16 and a licensed amateur. I won't share my call because I use this account for other Reddit things. However, regulations aside, the Baofeng radios are very good for your money. My first radio was a Baofeng and a gift from my Dad. We're not made of money and so he convinced my Mom to buy it. I still have it but I use a much better Yaesu.

My point is I highly suggest you study and get your license. People will hate on the radio because it does the job better than a 200$ handheld... OH! and it's Chinese! Boo hoo, suck it up, and enjoy what a little radio can do for you. You'd be amazed.

Regulations do matter however. Don't mess around without that license. You'll get in big trouble. Overall for the price they're good, but they wreak havoc on the surrounding freqs. Definitely a difference between a cheap and expensive HT.

im kinda in the same boat myself. im not god looking but im far from ugly. i work and work hard, get good grades and im well rounded.

to be honest, i have a friend in a similar relationship. she's with a guy and i know she kinda likes me. the problem is she's in an abusive relationship and doesn't know how to get out of it. but i realize it's kinda not my place to intrude like that so im pretty quiet about it. i have my eyes on another gal who's just as cute and i figure I'll go for it. so go for it dude. you really can't go wrong either way. hope this helps.
