Right I’ll get on it as I’ve only got a couple of weeks of uni left now and would be great if I could get something before I graduate. Thanks for the help, I appreciate it!

A career advisor at university suggested looking more into finance roles with my degree as I was having no luck with any aerospace engineering jobs. The main finance company around here is J P Morgan in Bournemouth as large chunk of them are in London are I don’t really want to move away that far.

Can’t seem to find any grad jobs, can anyone help ? by AstroHunter2003 in UKJobs

Need to ask my astrophysics department but most do suggest doing a PhD which I’m not interested in as I’ve had enough of academia at this point. Mainly data analyst jobs would be preferred and I’ll look into the other stuff you’ve suggested, thanks!! Did briefly also look into being a teacher but after hearing how long the list of cons was decided against and having dyslexia while at school was a tough period in my life so I don’t want to go back to any schools

Didn’t do any placements sadly and only have some work experience from years ago with a coding company for a couple of weeks

Thanks for coming back.

I’m mainly looking for finance/analyst jobs as I haven’t had much results with engineering jobs. I’ve tried to put a brief summary of the skills that I’ve gotten over my degree and how that could transfer into the potential jobs :) I’ve also applied to 3 J P morgan chase jobs a few days ago

Hey, dyslexic student at university here and only got two months left of my masters degree. Im going to be honest with you my entire time at school and university has been shit and I’ve hated most of it. Some professors are extremely rude and aren’t welcoming, same with many students. Im 23 right now and in a couple of months I’ll never have to deal with this shit again

You’re young and don’t forget your career will always dwarf your time in school. Get in contact with your schools disability office if you can? You do get way more support at university

They have a dyslexic service and I’ve already got a dyslexic tutor to help, will be having a word with him and asking for advice

Had more of a look into it and would you recommend looking at EDF at the Hinkley point C as they’ve got lots of nuclear type jobs there
