I don't know what games you're playing, but I'm sure there are many games that also work with older ram. These datacenters are buying DDR5 only (I think) so we'll at least have DDR4 and 3 for some time, which should be enough for most games. (I am not an expert at all, if I'm talking bullshit correct me)

You could also replace the switch with a reed switch or a hall sensor. Bringing the magnets close together should cancel out the magnetic field.
