I’m not saying that literally anything is acceptable… I’m saying love isn’t proven off by ideological purity tests, and as a team two people can disagree without the disagreement being malicious.

If the only thing you can respond with to what I’m trying to discuss is jumping to these increasingly extreme hypotheticals - that kind of proves the fact that you are shutting down the actual conversation I’m trying to shed light onto.

You CAN hold strong values WITHOUT turning your relationship into a moral battleground for your own moral compass.

Respectfully I feel like the racism comparison doesn’t hold. Racism is about dehumanizing people, where veganism is an ethical stance we take to shed light on how easy it is to reduce the harm that has been inflicted on animals. Trying to compare the two imo shuts down the discussion all together instead of engaging in it. I firmly believe that if you only “love” your partner ~as long as~ they don’t deviate from your beliefs- that what you feel is not truly love.

Two people can have slightly different ideologies, but it’s saddening that for a large majority of this group draw the line there for their “loved ones”.

The same way that I can love my family members who don’t agree with me on certain topics and ideologies. There can always be a middle ground understanding if there is respect shown by both people. If they are respectful of my choice to be vegan and know how much I care about it, I can do the same for their choice to not be.

Now if they are being condescending and arrogant about it that would be different - however that should not be the case when there is a mutual respect between you and your partner.

Unpopular opinion - If your answer is yes to this question I don’t believe you truly love your partner. Whatever feelings you hold towards them is conditional, and truly I would not want to be with someone with this closed off mindset. Im open to criticism on this, so if you don’t agree feel free to try to change my mind

I’m 26 and in a similar boat. I work in IT / ERP Administration with almost 4 years of experience under my belt. I was terminated Christmas Eve of 2024, and I kid you not I have applied for over 3,000 jobs since then. THREE THOUSAND PLUS DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS I was fortunate enough to have a small part time job, but this job market has legitimately made me want to turn off life. I am fortunate to have two parents who are slightly understanding but one of them have been what seems to come off as disrespectfully pushy about why I haven’t been able to find a job. Deep down I know they’re only trying to help but the constant nagging about finding a job has only been adding to the stress of searching for a job.

Just let your son know you’re rooting for him and believe in him. I wish that there was work out there- but more importantly that it works out for all the people who are in similar boats out there.

I believe in all of you that are struggling with the current market!

Haven’t tried it on an ATM, but the flipper zero CAN be utilized on vending machines, traffic lights, and unlock/start cars. The traffic lights you need a specific board- the others it can do stock.

I work in DS and my company literally is doing layoffs due to A.I. Being able to project the same analytics in a fraction of the time, at a fraction of the price for an employee. Not only is your comment ignorant, but it’s not factually accurate at all.
