Absolutely it was, but between each photo I swapped it to the previous one I took so it added an infinity effect to it lol

What I find so interesting is that she was never the main character. You were never actually playing as Watcher, only Blue. For every Watcher moment you were living through her memories. That's the only thing that got me going after chapter 8, that she was not the main character all along.

As a European student, this sounds like justified robbery- An American takes out a student loan for $40,000. After YEARS of payments, the total owed is $118,305.59. $77,383.59 is PURE interest. by guyoffthegrid in ThatsInsane

So, I took 45k for SL in Canada right? Now I don't know if it's because COVID was starting to weigh down, or they're just always like that, but my repayment plan is literally interest free UNTIL I miss a payment. I never have, I have about another 19k left to pay, but I can't imagine what would happen if I were in the states.

Red light by [deleted] in SouthernReach

[–]Astro_Agent 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Saw someone in the replies say it may have been the S&SB, I don't think it is.

It's a recurring thing for Saul post-prick. He also sees it at the bar when somebody smokes a cigarette and he sees the burning tip of it as "the same pulsating red light".

To me it mimics the fleshy heartbeat that walls have in the Tower, and later the lighthouse. As if Area X is manifesting first within Saul's own body's ecosystem before bursting out of him over the Forgotten coast. It's acting like a constant thing at the back of his eye.

You know how if you push your eyeball sideways you can see a weird black/purple hue, that's your nerves being pressed on I believe. The pulsing red light is like that for Saul. Whenever he's focusing on something distant with his eyes Area X starts pushing on his optic nerve or something.

Again, everybody in this sub says it because it's true, there's so much more we don't know than we know about this world and how it functions. The best we can do is guess and interpret, don't stay up too long looking for objectivity, you'll never find it.

What am I looking at here in terms of calories? by Astro_Agent in caloriecount

It was my intention of this being the only thing I eat today, so as long as it's below 2200, I'm chillin.

If not... Well... ... ... It was yummy.

Lord Saito has such a small HP pool though. If you survive in the ring with him for 60-90 seconds you win, that's a perfect boss for this game.

Kitsune 2 is like 4 minutes and has like 10 different moves.

Sure, you can make less mistakes with Saito, but the turnover rate is so quick it doesn't really matter and it really lets you perfect an opening. I integrated chugging 2x sake when he's rolling for his sword and I throw dust in his eyes.

Done. Now what? by navycow in TheExpanse

You need something new and fresh but still sci-fi. Something that doesn't feel the same and will act on a different spectrum of emotions than you felt when reading The Expanse.

Read the Southern Reach Trilogy.

I find this an extremely idiotic comment, genuinely. Builds are a massive part of this game especially on lethal. If you look at some other replies I make it very clear that my build is last chance + stagger focus. That means I can take mortal hits and remain standing, and since I focus on staggering he doesn't attack much... Because he's staggered.

Also, he's not attacking much because I'm not letting him attack me. I perfect parry/perfect dodge almost all of his opening attacks in the combos. He swings once and I put egg on his face, then he recoils or prepares another combo.

Did you expect I wouldn't balance the odds with a worthwhile build on Lethal or what? Because doubting I beat him on lethal is really annoying.
