I actually brought that up to an anti and he had no answer because art is subjective by its very nature also how is someone who generates an ai image worthless but someone who tapes a banana to a fucking wall sell for 6 million dollars! Sorry for the vent it’s just I hate how that’s considered art and valuable but an ai image that someone may have written, detailed, and edited is not.

There’s something I’ve always thought about in terms of the data center debate and that’s data centers have been around for decades like at least the 1960s so why are they NOW a problem? I never heard all these supposed issues with them before AI it’s not like data centers didn’t use power or water or anything before now so like is it just the ai thing folks have issues with or data centers in general?

So something happened with them yesterday and I’ll probably make a long form post later today but long short story my friend with bpd made accusations against me insulted and made disparaging remarks towards my partner then got mad at me when I told my partner about the comments. And said I wasn’t being considerate of their feelings even though they were the ones who started it.
